If Moggi were here there would be no excuses. we had a solid core at the start of this season. We spent 50 mil again on multiple average players instead of one or two winners. look at Milan... they spent less on robinho cassano and ibrahimovic than we did on all our fags.

Yes ji. I supported a move for krasic. I brought his name up before all u fools were talking about it. I got blasted in 07 for suggesting a move Fo quags and blasted again when I wanted him on the nt.

But a few good moves does not make a team. We see this now. Because no one else on here understands tactics until after the fact.

What about the Forlan link?? I knew Bagg would get a kick out of the Big Mac Attack Juve would eventually have. Forlan is old despite a good WC but he's another player I wouldn't want at Juve. Tony makes a good point but fat chance Ibra was returning to Juve. I think they Robinho transfer was a bit pricey and more risky compared to Amauri. Amauri was having a great season before his transfer. The risky move paid off for Milan while Juve are now looking to shop around for Amauri. I still think this 4-4-2 shit is terrible and they should've never let Diego go. They should've stuck with that and built the team around him. Imagine a Diego-Krasic mid-field?? I would probably watch this team if Diego was still on there.

Forlan is an excellent player and I would welcome his signing at Juventus, but he is old. I would take him and get the last three years out of him. Mutu is an intriguing pick too because he is the poor man's Cassano pick. Cheap and classy (on the field at least).

Why not make a bid for someone like Balotelli now that Man City have like 9 strikers?

We could bid for Balotelli, but i find it more likely Man City would rather get rid of other strikers (Adebayour, Santa Cruz and/or Tevez) before Balotelli

Actually, I wouldn't take Balo only because he's a huge Milan fan. He's not a professional and I think it would get in the way of his playing. Barzagli is just a name but I believe he's an improvement. Ill give Bonucci time to settle. I also think Chiellini should make that switch to LB unless a better one is on the market. I know Juve need an good LB but I wouldn't go out and splash money on an LB. A solid back at around 8 to 10 mil would be sufffice. They should splash at the nidfield position and the striker position over the summer. Please, no Gila.

Well Dino, Bonucci hasnt done a horrible job, he's just been not as consistent as we would like him to be
We definitely should be using Chiellini to our advantage....Grosso just cant do it anymore....and moving Chiellini to LB temporarily may be a huge help.

When does De Ceglie come back?? He was doing great up till his injury

Moving Chiellini to LB would be quite a waste. We need to stick to Chiellini-Bonucci at CB, and buy better fullbacks by the end of the summer. No more of this depending on Grygera (!) nonsense.

He played RB at Palermo and in the middle for Italy, correct?? I would still move Chiellini to the left. Chiellini offers nothing in the middle. He's terrible in the air, not very physical and clumsy when it comes to covering an incoming attacker. You can tell there's very poor planning, organization and game planning when it comes to defense. They just look completely stupid when it comes to defending the cross. Chiellini had some monster games in the past, played very well at his position but the past 2 seasons his play has deteriorated. He's a dumb defender that doesn't understand how to defend. I still think he's been better at LB. Remember him dribbling down the left and sending in juicy crosses?? Juve should've never sold Zebina. He would do well in a defense of Barzagli, Bonucci and Chiellini. Letting go of Canna was a bad move, he could've provided some guidance for these young players so they can learn. Incorporating youth with veterans is the way to go.

I'll tell you what. I'll give this team another shot if they get Forlan. Maybe a duo of Forlan/Amauri would help Amauri get back to his scoring ways. With the return of Buffon, we can hope for some miraculous saves and some type of organization at the back. This team needs a magician up front to setup Amauri. I remember a few games last season where Diego and Amauri were clicking, only to have Amauri spend 60% of the season on the bench. They are desperate for a smart defender and a magician up front.

^ Wow I disagree with everything in that post, Dino. Moving Chiello to LB, keeping Zebina and Canna, and attempting to help Amauri to get back to scoring ways? NO NO NO! Also, didn't Zaccardo play at RB with Barzagli in the middle for Palermo? I don't know if Barzagli ever played as RB in an important game.

I've seen him play RB before for Palermo, Zaccardo might have been injured, or playing LB.

Not sure what is taking the Barzagli signing so long. Looks like Juve wrapped up Bastos for the summer according to footballitalia. I think that's a pretty good signing, hopefully. I understand Juve are desperate at the moment for a striker so I don't expect a huge signing. When is the window over??
