Messina i doubt there be anyone ,maybe ranocchia ,but e is half hours anyway so i would not get may hopes high.the only sure thing is ? Perditez is going probaly this week.
TBH I'd like Benitez to leave. He doesnt deserve the BS Moratti & the players are giving him. If you hire a coach, you support him and you respect him, but the only support & respect I've seen was that of Benitez towards his players & club....until 2 days ago. Let's hire Zenga or Spalletti....after all those are managers with a winning history....they've won so much more than Benitez....Fuck this. I'd be happy to change coach and end up 5th or 6th at the end of the season, maybe Moratti needs to refresh his memory from past experience. Changing a manager in the middle of the season always brought negative results. I expect nothing better this time.
I could not agree more with you lomba ,Moratti been a dick head full of cash keep making the same mistakes over and over, and i dont undestand why materazzi still with as .about benitez?why he wait so long ? was clear from long ago that the players never support him remember CHIVU ? anyway the soap opera continue ,will see what is going to happen
It is obvious why Benitez waited this long to have this outburst. First of all the January window is now close and he also wanted the WC trophy for his personal CV. Now he is in a position to demand without having repercussions since even if Moratti decides to show him the back door, he’s still won some trophies for himself and he will still get paid till the end of his contract. H’es got nothing to lose now.
If Gazzetta says he is sacked then he mostly is...I feel sorry for him, he has had to put up with all this BS from Moratti ------------------------------------------------------ Report: Benitez is out
This morning's La Gazzetta dello Sport claims Inter President Massimo Moratti has decided to sack Rafa Benitez after his 'inappropriate' outburst at the weekend.
The tipping point came after Inter's historic win in the Club World Cup Final against Mazembe on Saturday when Benitez dared Moratti to 'back me or sack me'.
He suggested that the Inter President sign three new players in January otherwise it would perhaps be better if they went their separate ways.
Moratti labeled Benitez's comments 'inappropriate' and told reporters that he didn't want to speak about the Coach's future there and then.
It's said that he considers Benitez's comments to be arrogant and any hesitation he showed in sacking him last month has gone.
Moratti also feels vindicated in his decision after testing the water in the dressing room.
Inter's talismanic defender Marco Materazzi put the team's victory in the Club World Cup down to the club and not to Benitez, while another of the dressing room senators, Dejan Stankovic, is unhappy with Benitez's management.
Rafa Benitez has struggled to fill the considerable boots of Jose Mourinho • Benitez issues ultimatum • Agent: Benitez staying at Inter • Blog: Rafa's cold war explodes
Under the headline "Benitez e' fuori!" ("Benitez is out!"), the newspaper details how the Spaniard will lose his job despite leading Inter to success in the Club World Cup in Abu Dhabi on Saturday.
Benitez was under intense pressure heading into the competition given Inter are 13 points behind rivals and Serie A leaders Milan, and following a 3-0 victory over TP Mazembe, Benitez invited more scrutiny when issuing an ultimatum to Moratti.
The Nerazzurri coach said, via the media, that Moratti had to back him with new signings, carry on "without planning" or terminate his contract. According to Gazzetta, Moratti had opted for the third of those options.
However, Benitez, who is currently in Liverfekkin'wankscum, told Spanish radio station Onda Cero: "I have not been sacked. Many people that read the newspapers today have called me up to ask me if I had been dismissed. It's not true, I am surprised that it has been reported as a done thing.
"I am currently on holiday to rest and then to begin again. For months I have heard and read things that are not true.''
The Spaniard's rant following Inter's win on Saturday was not welcomed by Moratti but Benitez defended his position and even re-emphasised his desire for financial backing.
"The president, with whom I had spoken prior to that press conference, had already left Abu Dhabi, and the only possibility was to publicly say something which was evident,'' said Benitez.
"I don't want to put the president under pressure, but I had spoken to him in the past about my project. My project was to include a series of useful players immediately as well as young players for the future. Moratti, with whom I have a correct and respectful relationship, liked it.
"The president has to take a decision regarding the line we want to follow. While I am here I will work in the best possible way in order for the team to continue to win. But in order to win and to do well it is necessary to bring in reinforcements.
"Injuries have hindered us and I don't want this to happen again. The transfer market begins soon and hence, this is the time to speak openly about acquisitions.''
When asked for his reaction to Benitez's original comments on Sunday, Inter chief Moratti said: "They were a bit out of place, perhaps, but they haven't spoiled anything for now: at the moment anyone who loves Inter is happy. I'm not going to talk about Benitez now."
Moratti was also questioned about Benitez's position by reporters on Monday morning , but remained tight-lipped. He said: "I will not speak today. I do not wish to create any controversies with anyone."
Benitez has been backed by Renzo Ulivieri, the head of the Italian Coaches' Association, who feels the Spaniard was correct to issue his ultimatum.
"Benitez has always been calm and civil," Ulivieri told La Repubblica. "He has my support but he doesn't need it because he can stand on his own two feet, he is a world club champion.
"If he asks for respect it's because obviously he has been lacking it. He has only asked for normal things."
According to Gazzetta, the leading contender to replace Benitez would be former Roma coach Luciano Spalletti, who led Zenit St Petersburg to the Russian title this season. Ex-Milan coach Leonardo is also believed to be under consideration.
I have heard that within the next 24-48 hours Benitez will be sacked, definitely. When does he come back from his trip in Liverfekkin'wankscum? I'm presuming within this time frame. Its terrible. Out of the managers available, who is going to replace him? Rijkaard? Jol? Jol just left Ajax because their expectations were "too high". Well, we are world champions but we are acting as if we are a mid table team avoiding a relegation battle. Fuck. In the transfer department, Cassano's deal with Milan is a definite and will be official tomorrow. I never thought the success by the Milan teams would reverse this quickly.
I highly doubt Capello, Leonardo and Simone. Capello - England duties, then will retire. Leonard - Wants to stay in Brasil. Simeone - No Europe experience. I will be extremely disappointed if Rafa gets sacked for this guy. Spaletti - Wouldn't surprise me. Zenga, needs more italian experience. Wouldn't be a bad long term manger though.
Whether his heart was for the club then or not, he is not the right person for the job atm. Also talk about possibly having a care taker until the end of the season and going after Guardiola, if he doesn't resign with Barca as his contract is up at the end of the season. TBH, he may have won it all last season but he had the best squad in the world to do it with. Rijkaard did very similar when he was in charge, so I doubt either will do wonders for us if they came to our club. This situation really shits me. I won't be disappointed with Milan if they win it this season. They are doing everything right, while Moratti is being his usual self, a jack ass.
Now is Moratti really stupid enough to spend 8m on sacking a coach and more on bringing in a new one rather than utilizing the cash for bringing in new players? ---------------------------------------- Rafa dismissal would cost €8m If Massimo Moratti were to sack Rafa Benitez in the next few days, it would reportedly cost the Inter President no fewer than €8m.
Despite Benitez's claims that he hasn't been sacked, the Italian media believe it's only a matter of time before Moratti wields the axe.
This morning's Il Corriere dello Sport claims Rafa will be gone within the next two days. In the meantime, Inter are apparently deciding upon which course of action to take.
La Gazzetta dello Sport understands that there is a clause in Benitez's contract that foresees a mutual termination at no cost only in the summer.
However, if Moratti were to look for a unilateral rescission of his contract today, it would amount to a cost of €8m in compensation for the remainder of his two-year deal including bonuses after winning two pieces of silverware, namely the Italian Super Cup and the Club World Cup.Rafa dismissal would cost €8m If Massimo Moratti were to sack Rafa Benitez in the next few days, it would reportedly cost the Inter President no fewer than €8m.

Isn't it just Materazzi who has a problem, acting like a baby for not getting some minutes on the pitch. Stankovic said something about how he was disappointed about not starting but I don't think its a big deal. We can tell Matrix to go to hell, he is too tied with Mourinho to like anyone.
Moratti is really a dumb ass if he does pay 8m for sacking Benitez and gets no one in the January window. All this talk about Financial Fair play and he goes about throwing money unnecessarily. In the end we will get Leonardo since he is free and all the work done by Mourinho will go down the drain.
At this point it looks more and more like its going to be Leonardo. Unless he is a stop gap replacement before Spalletti can take over next season, I think we should seriously start thinking about rebuilding the squad. It should be a 2-3 year project and yes, we might miss out on important trophies for a season or two but IMO our squad is getting too old to carry on like this.
Sneijder, Ranocchia, Santon and Mariga should form the base on what we build on for the future. In the market we should try and bring in players like Sanchez, who are young and also have experience in the league. We can't replace all our 30+ yrs players in a year so I think come the new coach we should slowly start rebuilding and put faith in him for 2-3 years.
