I disagree about us playing better when Pirlo is out there...we used to dominate games more and keep possession better when he was out of the lineup...only reason he looks not completely lost out there is that he's flanked by 2 DMs with our trequartista (Boateng) being the 3rd bulldog more or less

If Seedorf was starting rather than Boateng, Pirlo would be shown up even more, he's just giving away possession easily and it's not only today's game I'm seeing this

Pirlo isn't playing well on the left at all, and it's fairly obvious. He started there last game but was moved to the middle after 20 mins, then we played the best game of our season.

I'm pretty surprised that pilo is struggling so much on the left, i figured that he would adjust, but he is looking way out of depth there.

I think allegro has been licking his lips about the prospect of boating as trequartista for awhile. He just didn't want to start him in front of the bulldog 3 because of the lack of creativity, Thats why seedorf started there for a few games. Now with pirlo back, he is the creative element with boating exploiting the spaces. It's working well so far.

We look the most dangerous when robinho is on the ball, he's turning into a stud.
