What if Aabar put a Roman in charge of the club? Maybe that is what this Giovanni Malago's involvement is with them though as Deini says he is remaining tightlipped about the whole thing. I can't find a lot on him but he is a director at Banco di Roma and he was the president of organising committee for the Roma 2009 swimming competitions. Would that help sway your opinion?

It is a pity Angelini doesn't seem to be involved. I really would have liked to see Roma owned by him. Perhaps Gio is right and Angelini will make an offer but it doesn't look like it. However I don't want Angelucci any where near Roma! No criminals please.

Rather terrible first-half, very poor game. We're looking a bit lazy and lacking the urgency to take the game by the scruff of the neck. Totti looked very rusty but came into toward the end with some lovely passes. Amazing goal-line clearance from Burdisso. DDR looking back to his imperial best. Fortunate enough to score when we did and it was a bit scrappy, but nicely finished by Simplicio. We'll take it.
