Milan suspended training this afternoon after Zlatan Ibrahimovic got into an ugly fight with his teammate Oguchi Onyewu.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claims Ibrahimovic made a dangerous sliding tackle on the United States international defender, who reacted furiously.

Onyewu has only just returned from a serious knee injury, which kept him out of action for the entirety of last season.

Milan Coach Massimiliano Allegri suspended training after the two players couldn't be separated.

Around 30 fans witnessed the fight, prompting Allegri to take drastic action.

It remains to be seen whether the two players will be sanctioned for causing such a scene.

After all, it's not the first time Ibrahimovic has rubbed his teammates up the wrong way since joining Milan.

He was caught on camera directing a Taekwondo kick at Rodney Strasser for no apparent reason.

Milan will rekindle their interest in Almeria goalkeeper Diego Alves during the January transfer window, according to Cadena Ser.

The Brazilian goalkeeper has raised eyebrows at Milanello as Christian Abbiati and Marco Amelia have made for some troublesome viewing.

Abbiati's error against Real Madrid in the Champions League did not bode well with chiefs in Milan, and the objective is to bring in a new shot-stopper.

Alves has been at Almeria since 2007 and he is nicked name the 'Cat' for his flexibility in front of goal.

Milan were linked with him during the summer, but they signed Amelia on loan from Genoa instead.

However, a new move for Alves is expected.

Massimiliano Allegri assures the Zlatan Ibrahimovic-Oguchi Onyewu brawl ended “in hugs and kisses,” but he must change Milan in Bari.

The headlines over the past 24 hours have been dominated by the training ground spat between the two players, which reportedly saw Onyewu grab Ibra by the throat and at least 10 teammates struggled to separate them.

Serie A Preview Bari vs Milan

Down But Not Out

Bari may be at the foot of the table in Serie A but by no means are they out. With eight points from nine matches, the Galletti are still very much win in with a chance of clawing their way out of the relegation zone as 17th placed Parma has as many points as them.

However, Bari cannot afford to relax thinking of the point difference as form-wise they couldn’t be doing any worse. Giampiero Ventura’s side have suffered defeats in each of their last four league fixtures and have won just twice in Serie A all season.

However, both those wins for Bari have come at home but they have scored just three times in the league all season at the Stadio San Nicola.

Overcoming Midweek Disappointment

Milan’s season has been inconsistent and they continued to maintain that in midweek when they drew 2-2 with Real Madrid in the Champions League. The draw has also placed the Rossoneri’s knockout stage qualification into some doubt as Ajax are just a point behind them and Auxerre just two.

Nevertheless, Massimiliano Allegre’s side will have the confidence to get past bottom-side Bari in Serie A at the weekend. Last weekend the Diavolo suffered a 2-1 defeat to Juventus in Milan and although they have to pull themselves out of the pit they have fallen, they should be able to defeat Bari given their superior squad.

Milan’s away form in the league this season has been mixed as they have won two out of four matches, having scored four goals and conceded four as well. But the Rossoneri’s last away game ended in a 2-1 win against Napoli in Naples.
