Milan superstar Zlatan Ibrahimovic has offered a Swedish teenager a dream opportunity with the Serie A giants after discovering him in his very own back garden.

Malmo teenager Erik Kristjansson got the shock of his life when Ibrahimovic told him to pack his bags and head for Italy for a trial with the Rossoneri after the two enjoyed a kickabout at his home in Sweden.

The Swedish striker is friends with Kristjansson's architect father Gisli who helped renovate Ibrahimovic's mansion in his native Malmo. Luckily for the teenager he accompanied his dad to the house last weekend and snapped up the chance to have a kickabout with its owner Ibra who was home for a visit.

Ibrahimovic was impressed with the 16-year old's skills and was immediately on the phone to Milan.

"Zlatan came out and said, ‘How would you like to try playing for Milan?’," Gisli Kristjansson told Swedish news site The Local.

"We said, are you joking, and he said it was no joke. We couldn’t believe it," added the delighted dad.

The very next morning the teenager boarded a plane destined for Italy and has spent the week training with the other talented youngsters in the famous Milan youth academy.

"It's like a fairy tale. I’m a bit nervous, but football is Erik's life and as a father, how could I say no to an opportunity like this," Mr Kristjansson said.

His son Erik has been busy in his first week settling into his dormitory and taking part in training.

"Our training sessions are like the games at a very high tempo. I'm learning an incredible amount. Wherever it leads to we'll see. I hope I get to stay," Erik Kristjansson told Swedish newspaper Sydsvenskan.

"I see myself as a winger but I've also played in other positions. It's a lot of running but I've got good lungs!"

Ambitious Erik is hoping to emulate Malmo's most famous son by making his name in Italy. For now the teenager doesn't even have a return ticket home.

"I don’t know when I’m coming home. Hopefully never," the teenager told Sydsvenskan.

"My life is football and this is the chance of a lifetime. I didn't believe it was true when Zlatan told me I could come here. Even if this doesn't turn into anything I'll still gain a lot of experience and other clubs might become interested. My goal is to see how far I can go in football."

Things aren’t going so well between Jose Mourinho and Kaka, as the Portuguese coach told he couldn’t guarantee Kaka a place in the starting XI, also after his recovery program ends.

According to the report, Milan will be trying to sign Kaka on a free loan, with an option of redemption for a figure believed to be around €35 million.

Negotiations could start on October 19, when AC Milan go to play against Real Madrid in the Santiago Bernabeu in the Champions League.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that the Rossoneri would be willing to sign Chelsea right-back / center Back Ivanovic, at the end of the season.

The player’s contract comes to an end in June, and talks about renewal have yet to start. Milan, who had Ivanovic already in their hands in 2008, will make an effort to reach his services at no costs.

The 26-year-old played 50 matches for The Blues since he joined them from Lokomotiv Moscow and he also has 35 official appearances with Serbia.

Milan are looking for a natural right-back, as Massimiliano Allegri is keen to reinforce the fullback positions in his team.

Portuguese media claim Milan are prepared to offer €20m for Benfica defender David Luiz, but there are cheaper alternatives.

The 23-year-old centre-back is known to be a target for the Rossoneri and, according to A’Bola, the club is lining up an audacious bid.

Luiz is Brazilian and could well form the defensive partnership of the future with Thiago Silva.

Milan are known for seeking a bargain, though, so he may well be considered too expensive.

Other alternatives include 21-year-old Paris Saint-Germain star Mamadou Sakho, according to the Corriere dello Sport.

Cagliari’s 25-year-old Michele Canini is another option.

Nesta HAS to be extended ASAP, I don't know what the management is waiting for. Pirlo and Ronnie too but the priority should be Nesta.

The rest I don't really care about that much, maybe keep a couple on 1-year deals...next summer has to be looked at as an oppurtunity to clean house off some expiring excess deadwood, we cannot waste it.

i rather we get linked to the next big ITALIAN defender rather than david luiz. i really hope we bring in astori next season, he leads the league in successful tackles this season, and he is growing into a fine defender. he fully deserves to get a chance with milan. but it would be disappointing to see 2 brazilian centerbacks being starters for a team that has a history of housing some of the most quality defenders the world has ever seen; and nesta has been the last in a long line of them.

Clarence Seedorf feels reports linking Ricky Kaka with a return to Italy either with Inter or Milan are preposterous.

The Italian media strongly believe that the Brazil international is on his way back to San Siro after failing to make an impact at Real Madrid.

He has been frequently linked with Inter, but a visit from his dad to Milan's training ground last week has sent the rumour mill into overdrive.

Kaka left Milan last summer after six glorious seasons in red and black.

When asked about the speculation at a sponsor's event, Seedorf said: “It's unreal.

“Ricardo is a friend, but I don't believe there is any truth in this.

“He is recovering from injury. I hope he gets back in shape soon.”

The veteran Dutch midfield then reflected on his efforts to earn a new contract at Milan.

“I am trying to show my desire every time that I go out on the pitch. There are no problems. Right now, I see myself at Milan.

“I am not thinking about finishing my career, and this is an advantage.”

Yep, Pato scored against Iran and Ukraine, he's being played as the CF in a 4-2-3-1 formation so thats something to consider for us if Ibra is not available, I'd rather shift Pato to this position and have Pippo come off the bench if needed
