Another good aspect was this was a relatively painless win, I don't think expended alot of energy, this can only be good with a CL game in 3 days.

Robinho looked good in the 45 mins i saw of him, he likes to keep the play moving unlike Dinho who likes to stop the ball to make things happen, its a good alternative for us to keep things mixed up, Flamini was decent and got foward well but wasted two wonderful chances, Ibra was Ibra no effort but comes up a winner once again. probably add more later when i can think again and seen some highlights!

looking back at todays game it would have been nice to have Gourcuff still so we could bench Pirlo's ass from time to time.

pirlo needs quality movement in front of him and quality fullbacks on his side. otherwise, hes just a regular player with nobody to pass too.

Adebayor has fallen down the pecking order at City with coach Roberto Mancini preferring to play Carlos Tevez as a lone striker upfront.

Adebayor, a £25 million purchase from Arsenal in July last year, was said to be disappointed following Mario Balotelli’s move to Eastlands from Inter Milan.

But it seems Adebayor’s time on the bench at the City of Manchester Stadium is set to end.
