Do you guys remember the season before last when the romani and napoletani radio stations combined their broadcasts before the Derby del Sud in an attempt to keep everything in a better humour? 1) Baptista will stay (I hope there was truth in the rumour he will leave in January)
2) If Doni will go to work for Sparky Hughes at Fulham we can get Marchetti on loan from Cagliari.
3) A possible very late tonight deal to bring both Borriello and Behrami to us.
4) If we can't get Borriello, there is an outside chance of Gonzalo Bergessio, a 26 yr old Argentinian striker.
5) It is still hoped we can offload Barusso to Livorno, Pit to Rapid Bucarest, and this part I don't like, Virga e Della Penna to Ternana.

The fact we are looking for another striker suggests someone in our upper office has finally wakened up to the idea we will have a considerable wait for Adriano to improve. Our coach thinks the team is behind schedule in readiness for the new season. I'm not interested in hearing excuses made on behalf of certain players. For that reason, at this point in time I don't care what Behrami's past involved. If we are to be his future then that is all that concerns me and if he can help us progress, I won't be objecting. I don't see that we are in any position to pick and choose as we are.

Borriello is no attacante fuoriclasse but he can still score goals. Marchetti even though he is an internationalist is no world class goalie but is certainly better than Doni and Lobont. I know nothing of the Argentine, Bergessio. I guess however it's not unexpected to see us let Virga and Della Penna go if we can.

I don't think we need worry about a new management team firing Pradè when the time comes. He will be one of the first to go! I'd love to be able to see/hear that meeting. He knows he is on easy street with his present job. That must be some expenses account he has! He will present every excuse he can to be kept on...
