Brighi's name's dropped off threadzo's list, chewna - unless he's had to pull out over the past three minutes. Threadzo, how big a club is means nothing if there's no cash. If you don't have the cash then you can't do the deals - I'm not sure it quite makes sense to describe that as "shambolic."

Harsh, mk. It was the first 45 mins of the season, after all. And one thing I would say is that this team is well-coached - at the moment they know their roles and are sticking to them. Of course it's harder to retain your shape and discipline when you're under the cosh, but I quite like the discipline I've seen. It'd be nice to get Simone forward a bit more through the middle, but it seems to me Ranieri's looking for a disciplined three points rather than anything more stylish. Cesena look desperately short on quality, though - perhaps it'll come when Appiah gets going but it seems to me they're in for a long, tough season.

I think you guys need to lose those elementary drawings that tec provided in your signatures. It seems that all of the posts are running together and it's a bit difficult distinguish who is posting what with no breaks between the posts. Maybe it is just the layout of the threads, but it is not working for me.

i havent watched HD in months, i'm not complaining. this is amazing. i can't wait to see the san siro in HD tomorrow.

Yeah, Steve, I'm watching on FSC. The game is in HD (Directv) and the picture quality is excellent. As good as the EPL HD coverage on ESPN, so there must be something wrong with the coverage you're getting.

Bleah. Disappointing, though not entirely surprising. I thought we'd come out and move the ball around a bit more quickly in the second half but it was more of the same, by and large. Taddei made a difference when he came on - I hope to see Menez in the starting line-up week-in, week-out, but unlike some I think Taddei's a pretty good player and it's not a bad position when you can afford to leave him on the bench. No doubt the Avvocato will be in chuntering about points lost against the relegated sides last season and perhaps already again this. Nice, for me, to see Mexes still in giallorosso. I thought Totti looked physically sharper than he has for a while. And if Menez and Vooch continue their progress, as I'm expecting them to, then it could be an interesting season.

On the basis of today's performance, though, let it be said, Vooch has some progress to be continuing. As does Menez. And I'd prefer 4-3-1-2 to this 4-1-4-1, to be honest.
