You know, I always find it interesting to read the various subject matter that is discussed when there is an international break. We did have the Azzurri this weekend by the way. But, we are talking about "butter faces" and the fraud, joke and loser, Algore, winning the Nobel prize. Hell, Arafat did more more than this clown to promote peace. All you lovers of the Hebrew race can defer commentary until the next century.

I just dropped in to say ciao, and that I will be quite busy this week and I am afraid that I may not be posting for a little while. By the way, aba bab, thanks for the present. But I have to tell you that the best gift I received I used last night, courtesy of my wife and mother. I went to see Claudio Baglioni in concert at the Tropicana Hotel in Atlantic City. Let me say something to you younger guys. As you grow older, get married and have a few children, there never seems to be enough time to enjoy life as the responsibilities can be overwhelming. You will learn to appreciate those moments where you can relax and enjoy yourself away from the grind of everyday life.

Last night, I had the opportunity to go back home for a few hours. The foremost artist of my childhood was performing in my adopted country and it was wonderful in many ways. Not just because I saw this man perform here in America, but because there were very few words of english spoken by the folks who came to see this legend. Nearly all Italians. Many older than myself, but many much younger. For moment in time we imports came together to celebrate our common heritage and the emotions that bond us through the generations. The inevitable questions of "hey, were are you from," "how did you end up here", "how often do you go back home"...., were heard in the lines to the concert hall. You all understand what I mean I hope. Many of us never wanted to be here for one reason or another. Some of us, like myself, had no choice, while others were forced to leave for an opportunity to succeed in life. Glad, Fonz and Dino, who have parents from Italy should understand what I am saying. That's all for now.

OH SHIT! My parents were there! You meet any Sicilians? I was gonna drop in this weekend to mention if anybody was going. This is all I heard my parents talk about since they heard about his appearance on RAI. No way in hell was I going. I didn't even know who that guy is. I didn't think you'd drive up for the weekend to see this guy. I'll learn to appreciate those moments Ita. I usually get like that after 4 beers and 100 bucks at Lace right around the corner from the Taj :mrgreen:

It is good that there was a gathering of the older Italians, more respectable Italians in AC for a concert. There will be another concert for all the meathead Italians to gather when Freestyle Concert tickets go on sale next week at Balley's. Guaranteed hot girls for the young bachelors in here willing to drive out there. Again, if anybody decides to take the drive, I'll be at Lace. :mrgreen:
