If Galliani lands him for this amount (25-30 million) then, I agree, it's a bargain deal and I will give him props for that.

However, the vast majority of sources say it's 40 millions so, until the final details emerge, I'm inclined to believe that figure for now...might be a slight over-pay, however, I'm more concerned with the salary committed to the player as well as having that snake of an agent to deal with

Milan have reached an agreement with Barcelona for the transfer of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, according to Sky Sport Italia.

The transfer saga appears to be nearing an end after agent Mino Raiola had earlier announced his client was very close to joining the Italian club.

The Spanish giants have reportedly agreed to a one-year loan, with the Rossoneri having the option to buy the player after that with instalments over four years.

It was originally believed to be three years, but the Blaugrana made the concession in order to offload the Swede's high salary as well as a potentially unhappy player.

The transfer fee will reportedly be in the region of €40 million. Meanwhile, he will sign a four-year contract and earn in the region of €8-9 million per season at San Siro.

It is expected that Ibrahimovic will be in Milan on Saturday and all the necessary paperwork will be filed to complete the transfer.

UPDATE 10:20 CET - Spanish daily AS Sky and Sport Italia are both reporting that Zlatan Ibrahimovic's agent Mino Raiola, Milan CEO Adriano Galliani and Barcelona president Sandro Rosell will meet at the Camp Nou offices at 16:30 CET today (Saturday) to sign the agreement to finalise the Swede's move to the Rossoneri.

It is also believed that Ibra will follow Galliani back to Milan if the signing goes to plan.

Milan's move for Barcelona striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic will cost an stupefying €102 million between transfer fee and wages, claims La Gazzetta dello Sport.

Barcelona have accepted a reported €30 million transfer fee with Milan's wage bill rising to €72 million before tax over the striker's four-year agreement, totalling €102m. 'Ibra' is now expected to sign his contract, which may even happen late on Saturday depending on how negotiations develop.

Previous reports suggested talks had stretched late into Friday night and all that was needed was a signature from the striker after he agreed personal terms with Milan CEO Adriano Galliani in the company of agent Mino Raiola.

Ibrahimovic's arrival though is having an even greater knock-on effect as La Repubblica claims Robinho will follow him to Milan. That is only likely to happen in January, though, after the Rossoneri made an approach for the player.

Reports on Thursday claimed the Manchester City-owned Brazilian had agreed to join Massimiliano Allegri's side.

That poses new questions on Ronaldinho whose contract expires in 2011 and has yet to renew despite promises a new deal was in view.

He could move to the Los Angeles Galaxy to make room for Robinho who will take his place in the squad. Silvio Berlusconi, however, could oppose a 'Dinho exit after declaring last month that the playmaker was at "Milan for life".

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar is expected to leave the club with both Tottenham and Schalke 04 in negotiations with the striker.

we have signed Ibra for €25 million! and we pay it at the end of the season as he is on loan until then, i'm sorry but mega mad props to Galliani and Braida for this deal, if we can get Robinho in January and a fullback this is a pretty good set of mercato's!

here's a preview of the program tomorrow Ibra: The program for tomorrow will be very intense for Zlatan Ibrahimovic. The Swede will arrive after 12:30 with a private flight to land at Linate. Then the Swede will move at the sports center will Milanello where knowledge of his new coach and his new companions. At 19:45 the call, is scheduled presentation press conference at the Giuseppe Meazza stadium, after which, around 20:30, there will be a walkway on the field at San Siro where Ibra receive the embrace of his new fans.

we also signed a 23 year old uruguayan rightback named montelongo. apparently he nearly signed for real madrid before he tore his ACL, but has worked hard and came back stronger. lets hope he's the real deal and doesn't turn out to be a grimi, viudez or cardacio. we are in dire need of a quality fullback, so hopefully montelongo comes through.
