Report: Krasic set to join Juve

There are reports in Russia that CSKA Moscow winger Milos Krasic will join Juventus by the end of the week. Juventus held a round of talks with CSKA last month, but couldn’t agree a fee amid competition from Manchester City and Fenerbahce.

CSKA had hoped to start an auction, but Krasic’s desire to move to Turin has turned other bidders off him.

Soviet Sport understands CSKA have now accepted an offer from Juventus, which is said to be worth between €15m and €17m. Krasic isn’t now expected to feature in the Moscow derby against Spartak on Sunday.

If Juventus sign Krasic, the Serbia international midfielder will take up the one and only non-EU place in their squad for this coming season. However, he will fill a much-needed hole in Juventus’ squad, making a new left-back the only outstanding requirement on Gigi Del Neri’s wish list.

Juventus...on the heels on getting DiNatale the other night, this site decides to shut down?? I'm surprised there's no talk about the transfer window with Diego and Trez ( ) on their way out. Now that Samp is out, shouldn't Juve make a push for Cassano?? I'm not big on this Krasic move either. I think he'll be a bust too. Remember, the champions Moggi got were already established players prior to their transfer.

I don't know about you guys, but I'm going to miss David Trezeguet. What a phenomenal striker. Was it his smile after every goal?? His clutch goals?? Who knows but he will be missed at Juve. Forza David Trezeguet. I can't find a decent tribute on the guy on youtube.

This would be a good move....but dino and tony are right....why not Cassano?

If we don't buy Cassano after selling Diego I'll be pissed. I really can't understand this Diego deal at this point, it better make sense in a week or so.

Ya, that's what I'm reading as well. Which scares me because Quag's doesn't have any of the same characteristics as Diego. I'm hoping that's a smokescreen for someone else because it makes no sense at this point. 2 out and out strikers would obviously work in a 4-4-2 with the wingers we have, but I think Del Neri would rather play with a creative type behind our lead striker.

Word also is that Trezeguet is likely to go and Iaquinta may go, so another forward may come in in addition to Quag.

What's even more annoying is that this would of been the perfect opportunity for Giovinco to step up and once again prove that he deserves to be on this team.

In a week this decision might make sense. I'm not upset about losing Diego because I was never convinced by him. He only played up to his potential in a handful of games last year. The only thing I question about this deal is who we're replacing him with. The names we're hearing now can't fill in Diego's role.

Why the fock would Napoli let a big player for them like Quags join a direct rival on loan? Whats in it for them? And whats the story with Diego, is he definitely leaving?

Keeping Giovinco or buying G.Rossi would make sense. I'm with Morra, if we were going to sell diego, we shouldve never loaned out Giovinco.
