Van Der Wiel is a RB. We need to get a natural LB IMO. Probably a youngster like Criscito would be good for us.

I just dont understand why we are continuosly being linked with Evra. Ok he is good, but he's 29, and costs somewhere around 15-20M. We would rather keep Maicon in the first place..

Inter’s treasure chest

If Inter sell Douglas Maicon and Mario Balotelli this summer, the figure they will have earned since May 22 will rise to a staggering €161.5m.

The Nerazzurri have yet to make any substantial moves on the transfer market, picking up stand-in goalkeeper Luca Castellazzi from Sampdoria.

Inter President Massimo Moratti wants the club’s balance sheet to be healthy before the new financial fair-play laws come into effect.

La Gazzetta dello Sport understands Inter have agreed to sell Maicon to Real Madrid for €30m plus performance-related bonuses.

The player has yet to reach personal terms, but there is a sense that everything will be resolved in the next 48 hours.

As for Mario Balotelli, it also seems like a matter of time before he joins Manchester City.

The 19-year-old striker had a ‘leaving party’ in Milan on Saturday evening after agreeing personal terms with representatives from City, although his agent Mino Raiola has since issued denials.

Inter have reportedly agreed to sell Balotelli to City for €30m plus performance-related bonuses, which come ultimately make the fee rise to €35m.

Both sales, together with that of Rene Krhin, would take Inter’s transfer revenue to €67.5m this summer.

Real Madrid also had to pay the Nerazzurri €10m to release Jose Mourinho from his contract at San Siro.

Inter’s victory in the Champions League netted them €72m which in turn opened the doors to two more prestigious competitions, namely the European Super Cup and Club World Cup.

The Nerazzurri will earn €12m just for taking part in those two events.

Taken together that means Inter could potentially have as much as €161.5m in the bank.

La Gazzetta understands that Massimo Moratti does intend to make a proportion of that figure available for transfer spending.

Inter have an open dialogue with Liverfekkin'wankscum for Argentina international midfield Javier Mascherano and Dirk Kuyt.

However, they want the deal tied up for €30m and plan to include Sulley Muntari in the offer.
