Cena Moratti-Benitez ad Appiano: tre nomi in entrata

Una serata nerazzurra ad Appiano Gentile. Il presidente Massimo Moratti ha cenato infatti questa sera con il nuovo allenatore Rafa Benitez dopo averlo salutato oggi all'allenamento a cui ha assistito, e si è parlato anche dei nomi in entrata viste le cessioni che sembrano imminenti. I nomi sono sempre gli stessi tre: Javier Mascherano, per il quale si insiste come da noi anticipato, Dirk Kuyt, erede di Balotelli, e Patrice Evra, che resta un obiettivo anche se lo United ancora non vuole metterlo sul mercato.

Caliendo: "Maicon-Real, si gioca sporco. Tante voci, ma dico che..."

Cessioni è la parola d'ordine per far partire il mercato nerazzurro, quello in entrata. Non solo Mario Balotelli vicinissimo al Manchester City, ma soprattutto, nelle ultime ore, la vicenda Maicon-Real Madrid. C'è bisogno di fare chiarezza, e per inquadrare la situazione, l'agente del brasiliano, Antonio Caliendo, parla a Sky Sport. Sappiamo che il nodo consiste, per ora, nell'ingaggio del giocatore, per le richieste rienute troppo alte, ma le parole di Caliendo sono chiare in materia, sin dall'inizio: "Mi sembra che Maicon sia messo sul mercato dalle voci, come Trezeguet, che ogni anno sembra che vada via e invece resta. Sono rimasto molto sorpreso dai titoli e dai contenuti dei giornali spagnoli. Maicon non ha mai detto di voler andare al Real Madrid esplicitamente: la domanda era se l'Inter si fosse messa d'accordo col Real, se lui ci fosse andato, ma invece hanno cambiato la versione del tutto. Le richieste eccessive, di 7 milioni, di cui si parla sono follie. Perchè io da quando faccio il procuratore non ho mai dichiarato quanto prende il mio giocatore, quindi le cifre sono inventate.

L'ingaggio del giocatore non viene messo in pubblico, perchè come vede qualcuno sta giocando sporco. Ma dato che non possono sorprendere uno con la mia esperienza... Il City? Loro hanno un sacco di milioni di budget", ma di mercato con Maicon non se ne parla. Ecco invece poi le tanto attese parole sull'ingaggio 'astronomico' richiesto al Real: "Sono sincero, le cifre che sono uscite in prima pagina su un quotidiano di Madrid, AS, sono assolutamente fatte da loro e non da me. Sembrano la voce ufficiale del Real Madrid... Io devo ringraziarli perchè mi hanno dato delle indicazioni. Comunque, intendo precisare che Maicon non potrà mai essere secondo a nessuno del Real Madrid, ossia Cristiano Ronaldo e Kakà. E se voi dite che ci vorrebbero 12 milioni per lui, ne servirebbero 24 perchè non compri un attaccante, ma molto di più".

It's not made up but Caliendo has to do some damage control as it looks more and more likely they won't get the transfer to Madrid. If Maicon stays he'll probably get whistled for a while too..

Thanks for the info on Balosmelly, boys. I don't particularly care for him or what he does nor do I particularly care about Inter losing a good player, obviously, but what I do care about is seeing Italian football losing a promising young player and seeing him leave for abroad, particularly the Premiershit. Regardless of what a complete and utter muppet he is, there's no denying he has the potential to be a great player and so seeing him leave is disappointing for Italian football, I think. It could also be very damaging for him, as if he does join Man Shitty I can see him go down the same path as Robinho, where he is initially great but then comes to realise what a shithole Manchester is and what a loser Mancini is etc., and then there's the question of how he adapts to the 'english' game, and how he'll get on with he teammates, the likes of lovely pleasant chaps like Adebayor and Bellamy etc., and how'll he'll react to sitting on the bench and not playing regularly. There's just too many variables for it not to be a complete disaster, but a funny one nonetheless.

City - Balotelli deal is supposed to be closed, according to Sky Sports. 30M + 5M bonuses (no. of appearances, CL qual.) & 4M/season for the player. It seems that even the Maicon deal is close to an end as it was reported that Real offered 28M + bonuses, whereas we want at least 30M + bonuses. After that, our transfer season can finally hit a go.

Recap of our current income this summer - Quaresma (7,3M), Mourinho (10M), 3 youngsters to Milan (7M), Balotelli (30M), Maicon (30M), half Khrin (3M). That is already 87,3M!! I suppose that we should add something near 10M for Muntari & something around 6M for Burdisso and our outgoing transfer season would be practically closed. 103M +/- .

We have spent till now 7M for Mariga/Biabiany & 6.5M for half Ranocchia. Granted that a minimum of 30M will have to go to cover the club's debts, there are some 60M to spend..

Not much, honestly. But this team should be enough to win in Italy and we honestly did get the best the market offered. There were no better alternatives I believe..

Well I think it was the right time for Benitez to come here, he wasn't my first choice (probably 3rd) but as Lomba said, there weren't any other 'better' alternatives. The only thing that I like about Benitez is his consistency in the champions league, something (apart from when Jose was in charge) we haven't had in recent times. If we can't manage to win the Serie A this season with Rafa then he must go, unless he can get us the champions league again

Balotelli agrees to join City

Inter striker Mario Balotelli agreed to join Manchester City on Saturday evening and then had a leaving party in the centre of Milan.

La Gazzetta dello Sport understands that the 19-year-old has already put pen to paper on a four-year contract worth €4m a season.

Inter and City will close a deal initially said to be worth €30m plus bonuses tied to appearances and goals.

Balotelli could eventually end up costing the Premiershit outfit €35m.

At this rate, Balotelli may well be playing for City when they take on Inter in a friendly in Baltimore on July 31.

La Gazzetta claims Balotelli’s best friend Basty organised a ‘leaving party’ for him at Milan’s Van Gogh café on Via Bertani late on Saturday evening.

Balotelli’s friends then unveiled a piece of canvas on which was written: “Even 1000km away, you’ll always be in our hearts.â€
