Inter are reportedly close to capturing the signature of Torino defender Simone Benedetti.

The centre-back impressed for the Granata last season, as the side were almost promoted into Serie A.

Benedetti will be co-owned by both sides, but will join the Nerazzurri and play for the Champions League holders, hoping to find a place in coach Rafael Benitez's squad, alongside the likes of Lucio and Walter Samuel, according to Sky Sport.

Young attacking midfielder Alen Stevanovic will be going to Torino - also in a co-ownership deal - from the Beneamata.

If Maicon does move on to Real this summer, Santon will be given a very good chance to start regularly Maro. It happened for Balotelli too in these past 3 years. Also I dont know if you've seen Ranocchia play last season, but he is definately a predestined youngster, as long as he can stay away from injuries. He will become a starter within 2 years.
If a player is good enough, he will be played, just like Santon & Balotelli did. With us trying to adhere as much as possible to the new UEFA financial regulations, I can see more of these cases in the very near future...not necessarily Italian though.
