Inter Milan sporting director Marco Branca has refused to rule out a move for Liverfekkin'wankscum midfielder Javier Mascherano.

Mascherano has been strongly linked with an exit this summer and, amid reports he is set for a reunion with Rafael Benitez, he has revealed he is learning Italian.

"I can say that he is a great player," Branca said. "There are good players that we can take and others that cannot be taken. It depends from the requests of the clubs. Our image has grown a lot on a global level and the champions want to play for us.

"We are calm, though. For now, we have signed an experienced goalkeeper and two interesting youngsters like [Jonathan] Biabiany and [Philippe] Coutinho. The objective is to have a squad similar numerically to that of last year."

Inter defender Javier Zanetti has indicated that he would welcome the chance to play alongside his compatriot. "He's a great player, who wins back a lot of balls," he told Sky Italia. "He would be well suited to Inter."

La Gazzetta dello Sport has reported that Rafa Benitez's Inter are lining up a move for Villarreal's forward Giuseppe Rossi.

Skysports have reported this morning that the Nerazzurri have rejected an offer of £20 million for Balotelli and negotiations are continuing to agree a fee for the wonder kid to join Manchester City. If a fee can be settled on then Inter will be hunting to fill the hole that Balotelli would leave in the attacking department, and Giuseppe Rossi has been pinpointed.

Rossi himself had assured Villarreal this week that he intends to stay on this season at the Yellow Submarines after rumours had circulated that he would rejoin former club Parma. Treble winners Inter may be able to persuade the youngster to consider a move back to Italy.

Villarreal's owners are looking to offload some players this summer after the economic downturn and the returning Jozy Altidore, who was out on loan, was presumed to be on his way out to inject some much needed cash.

Rafa Benitez is also said to be interested in Dirk Kuyt, with whom he worked during his time at Liverfekkin'wankscum, but would be happy if Inter go ahead with luring Rossi.

Last time I was talking about a new co-operation with Brescia. Loaning them Suazo & Rivas (paying at least half of their wages) in order to have a preferential lane on their youngsters. Well this one below is our main target for this strategy. His president says he is the new Baggio....a little too far fetched but the kid does seem to have potential.
I was also speaking about how Milan are drugging the youth transfer system...look at what this article says. Inter apparently have offered 1M for the kid (he is 16 years old..), whereas Milan offered 5m!! 5M for a 15-16 yo??

Vista la situazione di allora, con la prima squadra biancazzurra non proprio al vertice della classifica di serie B, la tentazione di cederlo per incassare subito fu forte. Ma Corioni tenne duro, ricordando cosa accadde 10 anni prima, quando chiese invano aiuto per trattenere un certo Andrea Pirlo, ceduto poi all’Inter per 5 miliardi di vecchie lire, 2,5 milioni di euro. Quasi un piatto di lenticchie, visto che quel è diventato Pirlo. E il diretto interessato cosa dice? «Intanto sono felice di poter lavorare per qualche giorno con la prima squadra - dice Lorenzo Tassi -, ma so bene che la testa va tenuta sulle spalle. Niente voli di fantasia e nemmeno paragoni con Baggio, che fanno sicuramente piacere ed è stato pure il mio idolo. I miei obiettivi sono altri: il 29 c’è il raduno della Primavera e a fine stagione voglio fare bella figura nell’Europeo con l’Italia under 17. Certo - la conclusione -, se riuscissi a debuttare in A già quest’anno, tanto di guadagnato».

Burdisso deal edges closer

Roma have finally found a way to sign Nicolas Burdisso from Inter this summer after the deal had looked set to collapse.

The Nerazzurri demanded £4m for the Argentinian defender and the Giallorossi were struggling to get the funds together.

However, Daniele Pradè alongside Gian Paolo Montali and Rosella Sensi managed to get a little extra bonus from UniCredit.

Roma have now made official their offer and Inter have to confirm the deal for a player who had a big impact at the Olimpico last term.

In the meantime, Pradè can work on selling Alexandre Doni, Cicinho and Julio Baptista without having to rush negotiations with potential buyers.

The Giallorossi are also interested in Jorge Fucile, but Porto's demands are far too high. The player has also revealed he would prefer Inter or Milan.

Il grande colpo dell'Inter potrebbe essere a sorpresa Mesut Özil. Il calciatore tedesco, che il Werder ha messo da poco sul mercato, potrebbe essere il primo grande rinforzo per Rafa Benitez.

Nonostante l'accordo di massima con il Barcellona per gennaio 2011 la società nerazzurra si sarebbe inserita di prepotenza nella trattativa offrendo al diretto interessato 3 milioni di euro netti a stagione contro i 2,3 offerti dai catalani e gli attuali 1,1 del Werder.

Per il giocatore si tratta sulla base di 14,7 milioni di euro; e Balotelli è sempre più lontano...

City ready final assault for Balotelli

Manchester City are ready to launch a final assault for Inter’s precocious young striker Mario Balotelli.

The Premiershit outfit reportedly bid €25m for him last Thursday following a meeting with Inter’s directors in Milan.

Inter will apparently sacrifice Balotelli if City’s offer is in line with their expectations.

Massimo Moratti is said to be holding out for €34m and City are expected to meet that asking price today.

Meanwhile, Balotelli is keen not to make the first move, which could jeopardise his relationship with Inter.

Il Corriere dello Sport claims that the 19-year-old will train today and still expects to go on tour with Inter this summer.

However, if Inter decide to sell him, Balotelli apparently won’t dig his feet in and demand to stay.

La Gazzetta dello Sport understands Balotelli is waiting for Manchester United to show their hand before taking City’s offer into serious consideration.

Regarding ozil, if we can get him for that price they why not. We should consider it an investment.
