If we sell Balo, I believe his replacement would be either Kuyt or Cavani. Certainly they both dont have the potential Balo has but we'll gain more tactical stability with either of those two. I would chose Cavani, since he is younger and still has a good margin of improvement.
We're not going the same direction Milan headed for 1 simple reason. Moratti still has the desire to improve in him, whereas Berlusconi has been thinking he has already reached and passed the limit.. There's the difference.

Ricardo Carvalho set to sign for Inter Milan as Chelsea move for Bruno Alves

Chelsea are set to move for Porto defender Bruno Alves after agreeing to sell his Portuguese team-mate, Ricardo Carvalho.

Carvalho arrived in Milan on Friday night amid confusion as to whether he was in talks with both Serie A clubs, but it is understood he is likely to join European champions Inter. Chelsea manager Carlo Ancelotti blocked CarvalhoÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s departure to Inter last summer, partly because they did not offer a fee for the 32 year-old.
Chelsea have long admired Alves, however, who declared two days ago he wanted to leave Porto. Alves, 28, has two years left on his contract and Porto had hoped to secure a fee of Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£15 million for him, but such is his desire to leave that they may now have to settle for less.

Gary Neville will miss Manchester UnitedÃƒÂ¢Ã¢â€šÂ¬Ã¢â€žÂ¢s pre-season tour of North America after suffering a calf injury in training that has left him battling to be fit for the start of the new campaign.
With Owen Hargreaves, Michael Owen and Rio Ferdinand also missing the tour due to injury, Ferguson is already facing mounting injury problems in the build-up to the Aug 16 Premiershit opener against Newcastle United.

They should have gone back to the Inter jersey with the gold Pirelli logo and numbers on it. This zig zag blurry shit is rotten.

Anyone thinks there's any truth to the Carvalho rumors? They all seemed to have come from The Telegraph so not too reliable.
