Simon Kjaer Will Join Wolfsburg Within Days - Palermo Chief Maurizio Zamparini

Zamparini confirms Kjaer is on the verge of completing his move to Wolfsburg...

There's no way back and nowhere else to go for Simon Kjaer apart from Wolfsburg as the countdown to his move to Germany begins, according to Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini.

"Kjaer has not signed with Wolfsburg yet, but we are almost there. It's just a matter of days now," Zamparini told Reterete24.it.

On Monday reports in Italy had claimed the 21-year-old Danish international had agreed personal terms with the Bundesliga outfit.

Meanwhile, Zamparini confirmed Edinson Cavani would be following Kjaer out of the door, but he did not spell out where the axe would fall in relation to his next club. One thing for sure is that it certainly won't be Inter.

"I will never give Cavani to Inter. I will never establish a transfer with them because I think they are not interested in him," he added.

"Plus, I don't like the attitude of their directors. Cavani will move abroad, never to Inter."

What a fuck. He is hurting the Serie A by doing this, I know it difficult but we need to keep the stars / talent we have here and not sell them off to rival leagues. Although he isn't a player I'd like to see in our side yet, he'd may be better suited to Milan or Juve.

Inter president Massimo Moratti has confirmed Manchester United's interest in Wesley Sneijder, but suggested there was no chance of him leaving.

"The interest from Manchester United in Sneijder is real, but I didn't look into it in an attempt not to fall into temptation," Moratti told Sky Sport Italia.

Moratti's response comes 24 hours after reports in England claimed the Red Devils were preparing an offer for the Netherlands ace.

On Wednesday Sneijder's agent Soren Lerby told De Telegraaf a renewal with the Nerazzurri until 2015 was possible.

His words, coupled with Moratti's refusal to get drawn in on United's interest suggest Sneijder will stay.

The chief also gave an update on the constant rumours surrounding Mario Balotelli, with reports claiming United and rivals Manchester City were fighting it out for him.

"It seems like an advertising campaign to me. In any case Balotelli has not come to me to ask to be sold," he added.

"I don't understand why a problem has to be created."

He better not look into it as Sneijder should be an unsellable unless it's insane money. Also the vibe is he doesn't want to sell Balo which is good.

Actually from what I understand, the will to sell Balotelli is there....but only at the right price.

Sneijder should not be sold at any price. He and Milito are our most valuable assets. We can manage with not having anyone else but not these two.

Where is ManUre getting all this money from? They are already 650-700m in debt. We are like what, 200m in debt. We should be buying from the them, not the other way around.

I just don't want to head in the direction of Milan; selling our best players and buying rubbish to replace them. No one complained last season because of all the success we had but let's see who they decide to go after if Balo is sold.
