I think we could all use a little light hearted distraction given the current "power struggle" surrounding our beloved Roma.

I knew the new heavyweight Adriano reminded me of someone and I finally remembered... older Boxing fans will certainly recall his most memorable performances including, "The Fight of the Century, the "Thrilla in Manila."

Looking at the image of Adriano from today's training sesh, getting him into somthing like even acceptable shape will take us beyond the summer, and that's surely a conservative estimate in terms of match fitness? I honestly think as I said before, that we will do well to get something like our money's worth in wages out of him for even two of his three contracted years.





If this week's struggle drags on and Rosella remains in charge of Roma to maintain continuity until a new buyer is in place, whether we like it or not, she has the final say on transfers.
