Loazzi, the sticking point later today may be that la Sensi could, as Deini has already suggested, risk going to arbitration in order to save particular family properties. In exchange for writing off the €325 million Italpetroli debt, it is no surprise to see Unicredit want to seize both the business that is AS Roma and certain Sensi family assets. However, much as I hate the fact that our club is suffering through lack of investment, I don't condone the need for the family home to be at risk, if it indeed is, and we are not just reading media supposition.

I'm curious about these facts: the Italpetroli debt didn't just happen since the Old Man died. Firstly, over how many years did the debt build up, secondly, under which circumstances, and thirdly, just exactly which parties are to blame?

Perhaps as a Romanista I should know the answer to those questions but as the Italpetroli situation only really became public knowledge when the first takeover bid was made just before Christmas 2007, even before the Soros affair, it's understandable my thoughts have been occupied much more since then with the effect a sale of the club would have in football terms.

I've had a very long yesterday and working shift. When I wake this afternoon I hope to see we are nearer to a positive solution for our beloved Roma!

Let us just wait and see what will happen. The Bitch is supposed to execute a contract today accepting the terms proferred by Unicredit. If she refuses to sign the deal, then there will be an arbitration but again, that will deal with the valuation issue of all of the assets involved. If Rosella does not accept the decision of the Arbitrator, then she can initiate litigation, the disposition of which will take many years.

The meeting has been pushed back to 18:30 Rome time. It is conceivable that if the future buyers of the club are not yet prepared to complete the transaction, that Unicredit will sell the club over the course of the up coming season and that everything will remain status quo until such time as the club is sold. I suppose that does mean even the bitch will stay on another season. It is probably the smart move if there are presently no buyers for the club. Certainly Unicredit would view it as the least disruptive way to take over, offer the club for sale, and allow it to function as though nothing happened.

Just heard that Unicredit lined up Angelucci to acquire 59% of Roma. Angelini is also involved with it.

But like is said, wait what kinda tricks Medusa has up her sleeve. If she signs she will get a 30million euros handshake but I bet that's not enough for her.

La Repubblica is reporting that Rosella is history. It's really interesting how quickly this thing ended without much of a fight from Rosella. As far as 30 million going to her, I'm not sure that will happen. Unicredit rejected a 20 million euro demand from Rosella. I think the issue was not one of cash however. The family wanted to retain that much in real estate holdings.

Again I have to say that Rosella's stubborness and ignorance has caused great harm to her sisters and mother. They have lost Roma, and nearly every piece of real estate that they own. Other than possible buyers of the last 3+ years, Unicredit made some fairly decent offers to her which she rejected.

Anyway, I found it interesting that La Repubblica used a quote from Franco Sensi when referring to the 5 Sensi's: "Dei cinque Sensi, Franco, Maria, Rosella, Silvia, Maria Cristina, e di Francesco Totti, il sesto Sensi, il"["figlio maschio che non ho avuto"]

Video of Rosella's first appearance today at the Arbitrator/Attorney Ruperto's office early this afternoon. That meeting was adjorned until 6:30 in the evening. Apparently, Rosella was not happy and the lawyer states that 'we have to continue the process'.

I mixed it up. She wants 30million. She can keep Villa Pacelli but for the rest she is losing everything. The oildepots, real estate, the hotels they have.
