I will trust in Marotta if, by the end of this transfer campaign, I can see some kind of plan. So far I see Pepe, Storari and Martinez for Criscito, Palladino and soon to be Giovinco.

I saw a link with Fiorentina's Vargas today, which would be a good move, but would certainly spell the end for Giovinco at Juventus.

The only issue i have with the transfer campaign is that Juve didnt just dish out the cash for criscito.

if they paid 10-15 million for Bonucci (over 3 years) then they could easily pay Criscito transfer as well.
But to be fair Juve needs a central defender and perhaps Del Neri will give faith in De Ceglie.

Otherwise, Marotta for the most part has kept his word about youth and italian youth.
Motta and Bonucci i think are good buys, faith in De Ceglie, they've brought in Lanzafame because they clearly see something in him and although it is likely Giovinco will leave, he has yet to leave....i wonder if Marotta will loan him out???

Linked with Krasic... a good option for 15 or lower.

Linked with Adebayor and Dzeko... I would prefer Adebayor because he is cheaper and more established.

Still need a LB.

I would be very surprised if we keep Diego and use him as a striker.

That is our best starting 11. Let Diego cheat inside to keep Poulsen back and allow for an aggressive LB.
Marchiso and Pepe are supported by a balanced RB attack. Pepe works wide to keep Trez inside and Marchisio supports from outside the box and makes late runs.
Iaquinta slashes and controls the point, opening up space for Trezeguet to snipe.

Sounds good at least.

Del Neri keeps saying Diego will be used as a support striker, but there is the lingering suggestion he will be sold if a decent offer comes along.

The other day Del Neri or Marotta said a left back, a centre back and a right winger are the priorities for the rest of summer, so hopefully there is a fair bit more to come.


I would avoid Adebayor.

On his day, he is Drogba-esque, but he is inconsistent and has a bad attitude. He wouldn't be worth what he would cost in wages.

Personally, I would be inclined to not sign a striker this summer. Get the defence and midfield in decent shape this summer, then focus on improving the attack next summer.
