Lupa, just as I was wondering what tomfoolery would next happen...a "blind auction" for Motta which could leave us with nothing? Oh nice!

Yes we could win out of it presuming the intent is still there to sell Motta to Juventus, and reading between the lines of the article, it appears Motta has accepted it is time to move on. But doing business on what amounts to a coin toss is fine only if you can afford to take the chance. Roma can't.

I'd like to see just what loan players are not only recalled by us but are also actually used in the new sesh. I've got that I only believe player stories when I see them happen. Sad, isn't it?

Within the next 48 hours (from 15:30 CET yesterday) we will apparently be told who the buyer(s)/new owner(s) of Roma will be. The deal will take until 2012 to fully complete because the agreement which will apparently be signed soon will give Unicredit 100% of AS Roma in order to then yield quickly 50% to the buyer(s), who as yet remain unnamed. In 2011 the new owner(s) share will rise to 85% and in 2012 to the full 100%.

The new owner(s) would invest quickly, a lot on the market, and if he/they did not succeed before the market deadline, would make it happen in January.

Jesus, Carlo, is this for real? I know its best not to get our hopes up and to take all these rumours of the club being sold with a pinch of salt as we have heard them all before, but this latest development is very interesting. Unicredit actually said: "not only Angelini, many people are interested in Roma." For them to make such a statement there intent of taking over Roma must be solid, no? This is exciting, Angelini can be our saviour, but lets see how this develops over the next few days.

Still a big difference between UniCredit and Sensi cause they all value it different. Sensi believes Roma is worth 315million while UniCredit says it's 110. There a more examples. Thing is, it's getting closer and closer that we will get rid of her.

And Sportitalia believes/speculates it's Angelini leading a consortium with other Roman entrepeneurs to take over Roma.
