One of Milito's problems, I think, is that he's a much more effective player than it seems he really ought to be. Higuain must be much quicker and much more technically able - and in training this surely makes Higuain look the much more gifted player. And yet Milito has those qualities - big balls, movement that's just a fraction of a second better-timed, and, most of all, accuracy in his decision-making that makes him much, much more effective than it seems he should be. Give Milito a run of games and he will do very well for anyone. At the same time, I can imagine why it will always be difficult for him to break into a top team.

I also think you're right about the interchanging thing, edzo. I'm just not sure that's not a mistake from Diego - there are other ways for players to complement one another: Milito staying high and playing through the middle would serve as a reference point for the rest of the team and create space and opportunities of a different kind. It's a tough call - Higuain will play shorter and contributes to Argentina's ability to dominate possession. Personally, I think with Aguero and Milito for Tevez and Higuain Argentina would be a much, much more threatening side.

Where would you put Messi though, Maro? You know, I might be wrong, but today I got the impression that Messi is Argentina's star player, certainly but he is also their limit. It seems like all the play is centered around his decisions and most of the time, his decisions seem to be too ambitious and self-centred. Putting him out of the picture ironically could be a blessing in diguise. I feel he is somehow what Ibra was for Inter last year. Well at least that was what I thought about today's game anyways.

Milos Krasic è sempre più al centro di un caso di mercato internazionale, che però ha il suo epicentro in Italia, tra Milano e Torino. L'esterno serbo, che sembrava destinato alla Juventus, sarebbe oggetto del corteggiamento di Manchester City e Inter. Giorni fa il diretto interessato si era espresso chiaramente, snobbando la pista inglese e ammettendo la sua preferenza per i colori bianconeri rispetto a quelli nerazzurri. Ma nelle ultime ore le dichiarazioni dell'agente Dejan Joksimovic al Daily Mirror hanno rimesso in corsa i nerazzurri, per il fatto che Benitez avrebbe espressamente chiesto alla società di 'regalargli' il serbo (complice anche la difficoltà ad arrivare a David Silva): “Rafa voleva Milos già quando era al Liverfekkin'wankscum e ora che è all’Inter ha fatto un'offerta economica scritta. OFFICIAL: Besiktas Land Inter Milan Winger Ricardo Quaresma

Besiktas have completed the €7,3m signing of Inter Milan winger Ricardo Quaresma, the Turkish club have announced on their website.

The Portugal international will move to Besiktas after two years with the Serie A champions in which he found playing time very limited.

Quaresma, who cost Inter €18,6 million in 2008, has penned a three-year contract with Besiktas.

He had also garnered interest from clubs in Spain, Germany and Portugal, but has ultimately decided for a move to the Black Eagles, who finished fourth in the Turkish league.

Besiktas, who have installed Bernd Schuster as their new coach, are desperate to turn their fortunes around and have been credited with an interest in Manchester City's outcast Robinho.

Quaresma will now embark on his fourth challenge abroad, after failed stints at Barcelona, Inter and Chelsea.
