Francesca Schiavone, dopo aver conquistato il Roland Garros 2010, è entrata nella storia del tennis. Qualche giorno fa ha dichiarato di ispirarsi fortemente all'Inter, la sua squadra del cuore. In un'intervista pubblicata su Oggi, ci spiega il perchè: "L'inno dell'Inter si intitola Pazza Inter, giusto? Bè, forse anche io quando gioco sono un po' pazza! Vorrei ringraziare il Presidente Massimo Moratti che mi ha chiamata subito per farmi i complimenti. E' stato davvero molto gentile".

Real Madrid consider Motta bid

Real Madrid are weighing up whether to make a bid for Inter midfielder Thiago Motta, according to Spanish newspaper AS.

Jose Mourinho is a keen admirer of the 27-year-old former Barcelona midfielder who helped him win the treble last season.

Motta would be Madrid's No 1 alternative if they fail in their efforts to sign Roma's Daniele De Rossi or Liverfekkin'wankscum's Steven Gerrard.

He is very experienced in La Liga having playing 102 games with Barcelona and Atletico Madrid over seven years.

Inter are expected to sell one of their stars this summer, but Maicon is the favourite to leave after expressing his desire to join Real.

The Brazil international full-back is widely regarded as the best in his position in world football and is being valued at around €35m.

Inter president Massimo Moratti has said the guarantees Rafael Benitez brings with him influenced his decision to appoint him as coach until June 2012.

Benitez stood out from a number of candidates, and Moratti hopes the faith shown in him pays off.

"We chose him because we think he can guarantee our future, and I hope this happens," Moratti told the club's official website.

"He is a very serious person, a great worker, he has experience of European football. Our choice was an attentive one, we hope it gives us reason.

"He was the one we chose first, but there were others who offered themselves, but he was the person I always thought would suit the role.

"He is different to Jose Mourinho, but this is important because I didn't want a Mourinho imitator."

Real Madrid Are Offering Less Than Inter Expect For Maicon - Agent
Inter and Real Madrid cannot agree on Maicon fugures...

Real Madrid and Inter have postponed talks over a switch for Maicon because they cannot agree on a transfer fee, claims the player's agent Antonio Caliendo.

Reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport claimed Inter would not rule out selling their players, but only if the price was right.

Caliendo suggests negotiations between the clubs has seen the figures move further away from what Inter would like.

"I know that the situation is currently blocked," he told Tuttomercatoweb.com.

"There is a distance between offer and expectation. I cannot really give a judgement, but there is a president that wants to spend a little, and one who wants to earn a lot."

With Real Madrid feeling Inter's demands are taxing, Manchester City could spring a surprise move.

"City? It's not a new thing that City want Maicon. Roberto Mancini has always admired him. But I cannot guess whether they can accomodate Moratti's requests."

I guess we want 35mil and they want only 28mil. That's what happens when you inflate the market though. We shouldn't sell for a single cent under our asking price and if we sell him for 35mil then maybe we can go for Silva.

Edit: FCinternews says Madrid are offering only 15mil. I hope Moratti laughed in their faces.

I beleive that after these past transfer seasons, the club deserves a little more respect and faith out of it's supporters. After all, who were the people objecting against Ibra's sale and Milito's buy last year? Inter fans..

I for one think Mascherano would be a good buy. Playing him alongside Cambiasso will give Cambiasso more freedom to roam forward and we know how good a player he is when he does that. Also, Cambiasso is on the wrong side of 30 and who else to replace him than his country man.

Kuyt on the other hand I am not so sure.
