The same old song and it makes me wonder just how in hell Rosella is going to keep her word to Ranieri of getting him the players he has demanded. For everyone's sake including her own she had better find a way of doing so because Claudio is one mister she won't be able to dismiss as a nonentity.

Obviously there is a little money which ought to cover our mercato of free transfers and bargain basement buying. Burdisso Jnr however is an unforseen expense and indeed will be seen by our management as an unnecessary one. Yet we have read today in the usual Roma outlets that Ranieri is insistent upon our club doing whatever it takes to keep Nico Burdisso with us...

As for the contracts. I can live with another year of Cassetti but damn it, did we have to give Taddei what amounts to an old age pension plan?


There was an interesting piece from Zampa “la bocca„ in Football Italia...or it would have been if I didn't doubt his reasoning behind the comments. He would be completely right if he restated his case to say Perrotta in his prime was much better than Simplicio!
