Inter Milan's Ibrahimovic key to Adriano comeback

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is playing a big role in Adriano's expected comeback for Inter Milan.
Adriano could be ready for Inter's next Serie A clash with Reggina, with Ibrahimovic acting as chief motivator and personal trainer for the Brazilian.

Gilmar Veloz, Adriano's agent, revealed: "Ibra is continually motivating and helping him. In the last few weeks, his support has been invaluable. He's been fantastic."

Sono bastate poche partite per conquistarsi un posto importante nel Torino e in serie A. Matteo Rubin, 20 anni compiuti lo scorso 9 luglio, continua a ricevere complimenti e inevitabilmente ha attirato su di sÃƒÂ¨ l'attenzione delle grandi squadre. Una soprattutto: l'Inter. Mancini si ÃƒÂ¨ reso conto che dopo aver venduto Grosso si ÃƒÂ¨ ritrovato solo Maxwell nel ruolo di terzino sinistro. Serve un'alternativa, e Rubin ÃƒÂ¨ l'uomo - anzi il ragazzo - ideale. In queste prime partite di campionato ha dimostrato di essere uno dei pochi terzini in grado di arrivare sul fondo e crossare. Novellino ÃƒÂ¨ entusiasta di lui e cercherÃƒÂ di farlo giocare il piÃƒÂ¹ possibile. L'Inter lo andrÃƒÂ a vedere in tutte le prossime partite per studiarlo nei particolari. Materazzi Return Put On Hold

Marco Materazzi has had a set-back in his rehabilitation from a thigh injury and is not expected to return to action for another three to four weeks.

The Inter hardman picked up the injury during Italy's friendly match with Hungary in August and was expected to be out of action until Christmas.

However it was reported a few weeks ago that Matrix was making a miraculously fast recovery and had already returned to light training. He was pencilled in for a return to the field in next weekend's trip to Reggina.

However Materazzi has now had a slight setback and will not be available until at least the first week of November. Therefore this leaves the intriguing prospect of Materazzi marking his comeback in the big match with Juventus on November 4.

Inter Coach Roberto Mancini will be hoping to have Materazzi back in action as soon as possible, as the 34-year-old has developed into a big leader in the Nerazzurri team over the past year or so.

Italy boss Roberto Donadoni will also be watching on nervously, as the Azzurri face a possible do-or-die Euro 2008 qualifier against Scotland on November 17. If Materazzi was to be fit for the trip to Hampden Park it would be a massive boost for Italy's chances of qualifying for Austria and Switzerland next summer.
