Fahad, we can bet the all important factor in the Adriano transfer is that it will be free. We have to hope he is able to continue his refound form from Brasil into Serie A. But you know, presuming he does join us, I have the feeling we will glad for having him which is not how I view the Fabio Simplicio situation.

I had been hoping the stories coming out of Palermo since January regarding some sort of pre-transfer agreement involving Simplicio coming to us this summer had been just media rumours. It is however beginnng to look more certain he will join us shortly. I really can't remember in this entire past season when he last played any kind of impressive part for Palermo, save for one appearance as a late sub when he scored an important goal and that now seems ages ago. In fact I can't even remember when he last played in a competetive match for Palermo.

Simplicio has, or maybe I should say had talent when he played. That said, to me he is another Amantino Mancini, not turning it on when he is most needed to! Again the attraction of a free transfer... more bargain basement shopping!

For years I have been into electronics and only gave up my radio amateur or ham radio status because of the internet. For a brief time I was involved in CB Radio too if you remember that. Tom is welcome to use my old rigs and twigs (transceivers and antennae) if he wishes as a temporary substitute for being online!
