Fabregas hasn't played for weeks, Torres is the same, Iniesta has barely played in the second half of the season and Xavi has been playing on one leg for a month after tearing a calf muscle.

i think Ballack missing is a good thing for Germany, he struggles to get a game at Chelsea so what would Lowe do if Ballack played the first game was piss poor? if he benched him he would have the backlash off Germany for benching the a national hero, with Ballack been injured it gives him one less problem to think about.

Kuranyi quit the national team because he was hardly getting a look in, i think. I agree with San on the talk of Ballack. It's probably a blessing in disguise for Lowe.
