Maro is obviously still in hiding. He must be afraid to show his face in these parts, and quite possibly afraid to use anything electronic so as to avoid the humilation of it all. I'm sure thats the reason he hasn't posted in the Rugby WC thread in the off-topic section yet, and now, of course, he has no reason not to. France are a good team, aren't they? A lot of good players. You have to like France. They don't bottle it. They don't over-hype themselves. They don't think they are the best and then not turn up. But I am not one to brag, not after my own countries perforamances. Not at all. But while we may have been piss poor, we're no bottlers, thats for sure. Two European teams in the semi-finals, and one from Africa and South America. Quite a surprise.

Good post Shield,

I didn't want to post anything related to the Rugby World Cup here but since u started it, then yes....I'm gonna say how brave and humble that french team have been.
As an ex-rugby player and passionate about rugby since I'm a kid, I can tell you that the quarter final was a great time for all french and rugby lovers. Not many people (in the world and even in France) thought that we could beat this All Blacks team.
Well...it's done and I let u imagine how happy and crazy we were in front of the TV.

Anyway...I'm aware that if we play that games 10 times, New Zealand will win it 7 or 8 times. They are undoubtely a better team than us but I think they looked down at that french team and Les bleus showed a lot of courage, bravery and their tactic for the game turned out to be the right one. Nobody thought that the performance of 1999 could be repeated and France showed a great spirit and an enormous defense to deserve that win.

Sorry guys if many of you were supporting the All Blacks but France deserved their place in the semi-final and we are now waiting to meet the English.

Many of you can't stand the french team in football but pls let me support the French rugby team....ALLEZ LES BLEUS!!!

I happened to pass by xff today, just to see how badly they're doing without us, and I ended up stumbling upon this line:
