I've got no sympathy for them as we were affected just as much as they were by bad reffing. A penalty and slightly offside goal (an arm) compared to a 1 on 1 chance and what would have been a 2 on 1 chance for us when Eto'o got the ball seems to cancel out imo.

I didn't really want to single anyone out for the performance today because like Chelsea, this was a team contribution. I didn't see any of the front 4 stop running while they were on the pitch, the defense was almost perfect and Cambiasso and Motta (besides passing to no-one about 5 times in the first half) played beautifully in both retrieving an playing the ball out as well as shutting them down.

What a heartbreak this will be if we miss out on the final..

Mario Balotelli was attacked by fans in the car park at San Siro, as security staff rushed to the rescue.

The Inter striker ruined the celebrations in the 3-1 Champions League win over Barcelona by arguing with Jose Mourinho, his teammates and the crowd.

After a bad mistake on the counter-attack, the San Siro supporters jeered and he turned to visibly insult them.

The problems continued and at the final whistle he threw his shirt to the ground.

It has been revealed that Marco Materazzi confronted Balotelli in the players’ tunnel in a violent clash.

However, Sky Italia showed footage of supporters with access to the car park beneath San Siro trying to attack the striker as he walked to his car.

Security staff were forced to intervene in order to lead him to safety.

Pazza Inter amala: una partita così, uno show così, una vittoria così, fantastico spot. Aveva sbagliato una partita, forse due, e lo avevano messo in croce. Troppi gol sbagliati, ridicoli… Magistrale Mou: l'ha preparata nei dettagli, ha raccolto. Fantastico Julio, mitico Lucio (ma non è finita 4-1? Quel gol salvato è come un gol segnato), geniale Sneijder, generoso Eto'o, frizzante Pandev, maestoso Maicon, nonnetto implacabile Zanetti (ma qual è la tua cura, capitano?). Pazza Inter amala, perché è un ottimo spot per il nostro calcio. Pazza nel senso buono, perché nel vero senso della parola (pazzo perché tenta di rovinare anche una notte così) "brilla" soltanto Mario Balotelli. Manda a quel paese Sneijder, perde tre palloni su quattro e poi – non contento – litiga con i tifosi innamorati. In una notte così? Ma come puoi, ma cosa ti sei messo in testa, mister Balotelli? Lasciatelo a casa, la prossima volta, così non manda "affanculo" la gente, che vergogna… Di pazienza ne avete avuta tanta, troppa. Come ne ha avuta troppa Guardiola nei riguardi di Ibrahimovic: un fantasma. Fantastic! This is our year lads. I know we can finish these boys off. Hats off to Cambiasso and Zanetti, Messi was non-existant mainly because of these two. He only had one shot on goal and Cesar dealt with it with ease. Thats another thing, Julio has had a fantastic year and hasn't really had a break. The team is working well, the only icing on the cake would be if Balo would snap out of his babyish attitude, but we shouldn't let that get to us. This team has thoroughly deserved all the praise they are getting at the moment. It was almost as if, when we were almost knocked out in the group stage and then bounced back, the team really kicked into gear and realized they had the potential. Jose V Messi. 1-0 Jose.
