MILAN - In reference to the news that was published today regarding an alleged contract rescission, Milan coach Leonardo emphasizes that this is completely unfounded.

leo has had a great personality and great ambition over the season. but ultimately, he most likely will deliver us 3rd place. is that an over-achievement? or an under-achievement?

i feel we have placed exactly where we should be, the team isnt good enough to win the scudetto but just good enough to qualify for the champions league.

but we've lost 2 important pillars of our team, kaka' and Maldini, that should've had a larger than expected impact. the return of nesta was a Godsend. and the imperious form of ronaldinho at different times through the season was also very helpful.

does leo deserve to stay? i think he does deserve a second season, but the most important thing for the team right now is new talent. and i dont mean 34 year old yepes on a bosman from chievo.

everything is moving so fast these days, only victories can bring a great influx of cash. galliani needs to go fuck himself.

AC Milan will not spend big during the summer

AC Milan will not be entering any grandiose spending schemes during the summer transfer market as president Silvio Berlusconi will not allocate extravagant funds for new players.

According to claims from La Gazzetta dello Sport the Serie A giant's transfer budget for 2010 will be approved next Friday when Berlusconi's holding company, Fininvest, gathers for their annual general meeting.

Milan's economic deficit has been curbed after the sale of Brazilian super-star Kaka to Real Madrid last year, which saw their debt slashed from €70 million (£61m) to €10m (£8.7m).

However, despite the upturn in finances, Gazzetta forecasts there will be no major spending on big names. Gone are the days when Berlusconi injected cash into the club.

After the meeting, Milan - who currently sit third in Serie A - will have a clearer picture of what manager Leonardo will be doing in relation to transfers by the end of term.

leonardo needs to grow a sack, he should've brought on albertazzi instead of oddo, he mightve done a better marking job on pazzini.

but i honestly don't care much for the season anymore. im pretty sure we've secured third place, its time to give the youngsters a run out.
