C'è una clamorosa svolta nella vicenda The Waterboy, svolta che può portare una delle operazioni di mercato più incredibili degli ultimi anni. C'è il Milan, c'è la voglia di prenderlo a fine stagione quando sarà libero, c'è una clamorosa corrispondenza con un caso analogo del passato, quello di Roberto Baggio che svestì la maglia numero 10 della Juventus e fu costretto a prendere il 18 nel Milan. L'unica differenza è che Baggio si trasferì prima della sentenza Bosman e quindi il Milan lo pagò, con uno sconto. The Waterboy si trasferirà gratis, sempre che da qui a gennaio non trovi un accordo con la Juventus. Lo scontro degli ultimi giorni sembra insanabile, la Juventus si sta quasi rassegnando a perdere il suo capitano.

E qui subentra il Milan. In casa rossonera sanno benissimo che tender Alex non ha molta voglia di andare a giocare in un campionato "strano", tipo quello ucraino (Shakhtar Donetsk) o addrittura quello giapponese o statunitense. E se entro gennaio non ci sarà accordo con la Juve, il Milan presenterà la sua offerta. L'idea è quella di un contratto biennale con opzione per il terzo, a cifre tipo quelle considerate "top class" in casa rossonera, sui 4,5 milioni a stagione. We are still 10 months away, but the search for the next Olympic diving champion is as good as over. Fans as we all might be of the work of Louis Saha and Joe Cole in the freestyle tumble with double tuck and reverse roll class, we now have to acknowledge the primacy of a master. If you missed Milan keeper Dida in gold-medal action at Celtic Park on Wednesday night then you clearly were not watching Sky Sports News at any time in the following 24 hours, when his podium-storming performance played on a continuous loop.

The facts were these. Dida compounded his error for Celtic's first goal by allowing, in the last couple of minutes, a shot to bounce off his body directly into the path of Scott McDonald, who scored an easy winner. As the Celtic players rushed towards the corner flag to form a human pyramid in celebration, an over-excited home fan ran on to the pitch to join in. Passing Dida, the fan reached up and patted him on the cheek in what appeared to be a sarcastic gesture of sympathy.

Hey, that's great news for Milan fans. If Alexis The Waterboy is forced to leave rubentus because they can't agree on a new contract, Carletto is waiting with open arms to greet him at Milan. I am sure every Milan fan is thinking, "now that's just what we need to give the team a spark.."

I suppose old Silvio would meet the Waterboy's contract terms. He has plenty of money to waste on a player who at times appears as though he is suffering from paralysis from the waist down. This is so hilarious to me. The man is grossly overpaid to begin with. Now, this waste of space actually thinks he has some leverage in the negotiations. It does not matter what he gets paid, it will still be too much money. You think the idiot would just take what is being offered given the fact that his only value to the team is in the area of public relations. He is after all, the team mascot.

Oh, and if the rubbentini think I am being too hard on tender tender Alex, think again. He is hurt. That's right hurt by both the club and the fans. The club because it is "showing me a lack of respect" as he says. The fans because they are now whistling and jeering at him because he has "had a slow start to the season.." as he claims. I guess it's tough for a man like the Waterboy to admit that he is now more suited for Serie B or C, than Serie A.
