Okay, so Gio and maro can continue their telephone bromance and all will be well.

I think we need to win at least 6 of our final 7 games to have a chance, and hope that Inter are distracted enough by CL to drop points. Nice to see the fans of other teams (other than Inter and Lazio, I suppose) hoping Roma take the title.

I didn't know Sneijder was a classless dick, but unfortunately the team seems to take their attitude from the boss.

I love Sneijder's reactions everytime a foul was called, its like he in the middle of a tennis serve.. along with the disbeleif... i REALLY want to know what the fuck he keeps saying to not be sent off... it must be real flowerly stuff to not be thrown out by the ref considering the consistant over reaction by him.

Fonz,, i kept replaying the burdisso reaction on my pvr, i thought the same thing to, and have seen burdisso's rxn's before when he's come close to scoring. Hilarious stuff.

Yes Lupa, i also believe that to have a chance of winning the Scudetto, we need to win 6 of the remaining games.
We never know...Inter may not win them all, it all depends on their Champions league advancements.

Ranieri must have told them to forget about Inter and to prepare games one after another. Are the players going to keep that momentum? It could be easy now to get distracted and I hope the players will really prepare each of the following games as true professionals. We can do it, we are there...almost there. It's unbelievable.
As we are just one point behind, some pressure is on us now and I hope the players will be able to face that. Up to now, Inter was under pressure. Now we have it too.
It ll be interesting to see how we handle that.

I think the remaining fixtures for both teams are pretty evenly matched. We perhaps have to face more trickier teams like Cagliari and Parma while Inter have a number of games you'd expect any top side to beat, namely Atlanta (h), Chievo (h) and Siena (a). But they still have games in which they could drop points. Bologna, at home, this weekend, is not a forgone conclusion in my opinion, as they have a lot of suspensions and will be distracted by the CL, and Bologna are a decent side when they open up and play football (which they might). Fiorentina away is a key one, which we have to hope il Viola do us a massive favour. Juventus at home.... well, you never know... and then the Lazie away... not likely, but you never know. For ourselves, you have to believe we can win all our home games, so the away games will be key.

In terms of us winning the scudetto, I'm far to pessimistic to even start admitting that we have a realistic chance yet. I don't want to do it yet. Perhaps in we come back from Bari with three points I will start sounding the battle-cries.

I'm not getting overly optimistic either, Shield. I had my heart broken two years ago when we could have won the scudetto on the final day of the season and I was daring to dream that I might be celebrating in Roma that night. One game at a time, but I think we can see what we need to achieve.

I hope the players don't get ahead of themselves. Ranieri will need to be sure they remain focussed.
