Good draw. Could have been much much worse like Arsenal found out. As Shield said, if we can't beat CSKA there is no use in us staying in the competition.

Its not going to be a walk in the park but they are a team definitely within our reach.

We have a much better team than CSKA. What I'm worried about is that this team fully concentrates when it has an extremely tough opponent in front of them. Let's hope that after winning against Chelsea, they dont underrate CSKA...

Report: Inter Striker Mario Balotelli Excluded Again

Jose Mourinho has excluded Mario Balotelli from Inter's squad for the third time in a week. According to Sky Sport Italia, the Italian striker has not been included in the match squad list that will travel to Palermo for Saturday's game.

Speculation suggests he has been left out for disciplinary reasons and not because of injury. Balotelli took part in Friday's pre-match training session with the rest of the squad, but his name was not added to the list.

It follows exclusions last Friday against Catania and on Tuesday against Chelsea. It's no secret there has been bad blood between Mourinho and the striker in recent weeks.

There will be no press conference from Mourinho as the club continues its domestic press silence.

Bolded are the teams in the top half so we play 3 while Milan play 6. Out of the 9 games we also play the current bottom 4 so we've got the advantage there but we're also in 3 competitions while Milan only has one to worry about. BTW this is not including the fixtures if we manage to get past CSKA or Fio in the CI.

They only play 2 teams from the top half and both are at home while the others are all relegation or mid/low table teams with nothing left to play for. If you ask me, Roma are the favourites from now since they're only in one comp, have the better fixtures and are more in form. I wouldn't mind if they win in tbh, as long as it's not Milan. Actually I can't remember if they're still in the CI or not..

Dejan, yes Roma are still in the CI. If I were you, I wouldnt underestimate our last matches, since they will be against relegation battlers, which will give more than their 100% to get the points. From now on, the 'easy' matches are those one plays against sides who are already content of their position and dont risk anything. Chievo, Bologna & Parma are just 3 teams that pop to my mind here. IMO these are the games in which the big 3 can actually lose points -

Inter - against Roma, Juve (though we should beat them!!) & Fiore. Much about our last games will be determined on who will be already relegated and who will still be fighting. Let's assume we get 6 wins & 3 draws - 21 points
Milan - against Cagliari, Catania (I truly believe Milan can lose this match), Sampdoria, Palermo & Fiorentina - 4 wins, 4 draws1 1 loss - 16 points
Roma - against Inter, Lazio - 7 wins, 2 draws - 23 points.

If that will be confirmed, this would be the final table -

Inter 81 points
Roma 79 points
Milan 75 points

Let's hope this will be the outcome.

We'll have to beat you guys to have a real shot, don't you think? If we can beat Bologna on Wednesday and then get a result against you guys on the weekend, so that all three teams are within three points of each other, it will get really interesting. If you guys even get a draw on Saturday, it's going to be pretty hard for us to catch you. I totally agree with Lomba, though - those games against sides at the very bottom are harder at this stage of the season than those against teams more comfortably in the middle of the table. If you go ahead against one of those comfortable teams, they're less likely to have the fight in them to come back.
