He's a utility player like Brazzo or Perotta. He considers himself a trequartista, which i can see him playing for a team like Livorno, but he doesn't have the technical skills Diego, Giovinco or even Marchisio have. Imo he's a RM that can cover other midfield roles. He had good vision to assist Diego today.

Andrew, if you're passing this way on your travels, and further to our Shoutbox conversation of some sort of swap/cash deal involving Diego for Ribery, I read today he fancies Barcelona. So, if true, you'll get your wish. He won't come to Juve.

Interesting that he fancies Barca, given that Real Madrid were the ones heavily linked with him in the summer.

I really don't see any chance of Ribery joining Juve next season.

Anyway, Juve need to know what coach they are going to have next season and what formation will be played before serious thought can be given to making major signings.

He mentioned wanting to play his football with Thierry Henri.

If Prandelli can't resurrect la Viola, he may be looking for a job come summer. I know several Juventini (our friend Tony for one) wouldn't object to him but I'd say you could do better...truthfully, though Zac will never be a big winner, he's no worse than Prandelli and at least the players would know his methods by then. If he is kept on, that gives you all of next season to rebuild and consider who you want on a permanent basis if Zac is not meeting the required standard.

I don't think there is any chance of Zacc getting the job next season, unless something truly remarkable happens.

I don't rate Prandelli. I think he's a solid Serie A coach and someone who will assure you a high finish but is unlikely to win anything. A bit like Ranieri, really.
