Several sources now saying Toni is only fit enough for the bench and that Baptista will start. This is good news. For Milan. No, in fairness, the big man (the Beast, that is) has been in decent form lately and doing alright, so he deserves his chance tonight. He better not fuck shit up. Quite looking forward to this game now, we certainly have it us to win tonight and I hope the boys play with the belief and confidence to do so from the off.

You don't hold any belief in the Ranieri statement that Toni will start because he struggles too much as a sub?

Did Ranieri say that? Not sure why Toni would struggle being a sub and coming on at some stage in the second-half. Either way, he should have about 45 minutes of good work in him tonight and we'll probably see him at some stage.

A lot of bluff and counter-bluff in the line-ups, I think. I wonder if Leonardo's thinking that with Pizza as our deepest-lying midfielder - and coming back from injury - there might be something there for Ronaldinho to exploit. I suspect they're going to sit pretty deep, though, and leave the three up front on their own at times (and certainly Ronaldinho's not going to spend much time getting back).
