HOW THE HELL WAS MANCINI OFFSIDE?! It doesnt matter he didnt put it in, it takes away from the offensive pay when the flag goes up!

Mexes was awesome.. Juan was good, but was being outrun at some crucial times.

WHAT THE FECK ARE U ALL TALKIG ABOUT?! Cicinho had a good game!! Yes, shot of confidence, but heading in the right direction!

Esposito... u watch, this guy is going to be the buy of the summer! (after the RLitM ofcourse)

Roma played good... finishing aain was the problem... but i liked this roma... they were unluky, an deserved at least a point if not all three! Qualit finish though by the pig farmer

Yes, the more correct decision was certainly to give the penalty. I was writing something to that effect when Shrek scored and it rather took the wind out of such niceties. I wouldn't expect such things to be given at Old Trafford but it was a penalty.

Nice to see your defence of Pizza over on theoffside, Populusque. Seriously, I give up sometimes. Before the goal, when he was playing alongside DDR, it was just remarkable the effect he had on the game. The little eagle is a marvellous player but so is the Pizza. I mean, seriously. And then it was interesting to see us go to something more like a 4-1-4-1 and to see the link-up play with Perrotta and Pizza both playing more with their backs to goal. Honestly, Avvocato, we are too sensitive thanks to last year and to last weekend. A big team loses such games in such ways, rolls their collective eyes in disbelief, and gets on with the business. This weekend we will see how big this team is; tonight we saw that it can play some fine football but also that tiny things make the difference at this level. Totti might well have had a hatrick - those two opportunities in the first half from the top of the box are really good ones for a player of his quality. Instead Shrek plays poorly and gets the goal while Francesco plays very well but not quite well enough and goes away with nothing. Suck it up, take the hit and move on. Three points this weekend will be nice.

Defensively Cicinho was simply awful. He made the wrong decision time after time. Hell, I like the guy and think (thought?) he'll be a great addition to the side but today he looked way out of his depth. I just hope, in a kinda perverse way, that Panucci and Casetti are out for another couple of weeks and Cicinho gets a chance to find his feet because he sure hasn't found them yet.

And Vooch is a clever, tidy player, but still just short a yard of pace for that wide-left role. That just makes his limitations more visible than his strengths but his strengths are there, for me, and are pretty strong so far as strengths go.

Maro, I CAN provide a sober analysis, you know......as much as you'd like to think I have biases against certain players......although now maybe even you will agree that our formation is faulty, or Perrotta needs to be replaced in his role...one or the other.
