Too much to read. Nice to see Mou keep on the 2 strikers + Sneijder even with 9 men. IMO, that move got us the point out of this match. Too bad that Milito had to leave the pitch totally exhausted. We couldnt have had a worse match than this before the Chelsea game, especially knowing how we suffer 2 games in 3 days..

Balotelli fit for Chelsea

Inter look set to have Mario Balotelli back in time for Wednesday's Champions League clash with Chelsea.

The precocious 19-year-old striker has been out for nearly two weeks after he picked up a knock against Parma.

Balotelli trained with the first team yesterday and could even start against the Blues.

Jose Mourinho is monitoring the condition of Diego Milito, Inter's top scorer this season, who sacrificed a lot playing the 71 minutes of Saturday's hard-fought match against Sampdoria in which the League leaders played nearly an hour with nine-men.

Davide Santon, the young left-back, looks distinctly unlikely to feature on Wednesday while Dejan Stankovic also faces a late fitness test to determine the health of his calf muscle.

Inter haven't won in three games and have failed to score in their last two, giving Mourinho plenty to think about over the next couple of days.

Julio Cesar a doubt for Chelsea

Inter goalkeeper Julio Cesar is a doubt for Wednesday's Champions League clash with Chelsea after he was involved in a car accident.

The Brazil international was apparently involved in an incident while driving his Lamborghini around San Siro last night.

A friend drove him to Inter's training ground this morning where the medical staff advised him to rest.

Il Corriere dello Sport understands that Francesco Toldo is ready to replace Cesar, who is widely regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the world.

Inter will also be without Davide Santon, while Diego Milito and Dejan Stankovic face late fitness tests after their efforts on Saturday.

Nothing has changed in Serie A and things have gotten worse in Europe, even if the ref got it right for THIS Inter game.
The The Waterboy - Genoa dive outside of the box, was just bad....
The The Waterboy "handball" is too close to call and also not in view of the referee, but we have the advantage of TV angles and replays to make our final decisions...and we need something to help with these close calls or the poor angle calls where the refs and linesmen have limited viewing range
I've been saying all along, and many here would agree, that more help is need in refereeing....technology is needed....extra linesmen...something that can help...

I still feel horrible what happened to Fiorentina against Bayern....that was the absolute worst.
I fear for Inter against Chelsea...because i fear that Chelsea will have a 12th man on the field and a 13th, 14th and 15th man on the sidelines.

1) La squalifica per tre giornate effettive e un'ammenda di 40.000 euro per José Mourinho (Inter) "per avere, nel corso della gara, contestato ripetutamente l'operato arbitrale con atteggiamenti plateali, in particolare mimando, al 35° del primo tempo ed al 10° del secondo tempo, "le manette", con i polsi incrociati e le braccia rivolte verso il pubblico e verso le telecamere presenti ai bordi del campo; per avere inoltre, nell'intervallo, nel sottopassaggio che adduce agli spogliatoi, rivolto all'Arbitro ed agli Assistenti espressioni ingiuriose; per avere, infine, nel corso della gara, contestato ripetutamente la presenza dei collaboratori della Procura federale, collocatisi nei pressi delle panchine di entrambe le squadre; infrazioni rilevate dai collaboratori della Procura federale; con recidiva specifica reiterata".
