Mabye you should have a 'no chance' category. Esposito sat the bench during his time at Roma. How can you say he was disastrous if the man never played. Plus, we brought him in about 3 years too late. Cerci has not been given a real opportunity. Same for Guberti. Motta, Andreolli, JSB should be in the 'jury still out' category. Doni always bothered me. Maybe it's the deer in the headlights look he gives off, or the fact that he had great reflexes from in close while his awareness and positioning on shots from distance was pathetic. I think the man has Attention Deficit Disorder. However, he had a very good run and he came to Roma for the cost of a plane ticket.

Edzo, Vuc is not in the excellent category yet. Sorry.

I suppose by "bleah" I mean both "not especially good or bad" and "too early to tell" - it's meant to be the neutral category, as it were. I've put Cerci in there just because I think it's kind of worth thinking in terms of the way we've dealt with him - I think we're in a better position to judge that than, say, our treatment of Rosi or Okaka. I suppose Baptista and Cicinho belong in the same category - Cicinho's certainly had more good games for us, but Baptista still has a chance to make a mark. I'm just thinking that when we sell Cicinho we're going to get jack-shit for him, whereas I think we could still recoup some of our cash with Baptista and so in the wider picture that makes the signing less of a disaster.

Deciderà in tutta serenità Claudio Ranieri se inserire Totti o meno. La sensazione è che il capitano giallorosso partirà dalla panchina, anche perchè per la partita di Europa League con il Panathinaikos il numero 10 romanista vuole esserci. Confermati, dunque, gli undici titolari che hanno sconfitto la Fiorentina sei giorni fa: in porta ci sarà il preziosissimo Julio Sergio; a destra persiste il solito dubbio tra Cassetti e Motta, con il primo favorito per una maglia da titolare. Mexes e Juan, dopo la splendida prestazione del 'Franchi', comporranno la coppia centrale, mentre Riise opererà a sinistra. A centrocampo De Rossi, Pizarro e Taddei, con Perrotta (o probabilmente Brighi, altro dubbio da sciogliere) dietro le due punte Vucinic e Baptista.

Roma are 7 points back now. We've made up 4 points in one week, but I'd rather stay focussed on keeping in a spot for automatic qualification for CL. I've already had my heart broken by being teased by the possibility of catching the scudetto when it was oh so close and Inter ladri stole away with it.
