Si è da pochissimi minuti concluso l'incontro, in quel di Roma, tra Marco Branca e Claudio Lotito per dare una svolta alla situazione riguardante Cristian Ledesma. Il d.g. nerazzurro aveva fatto un blitz nella Capitale nel primo pomeriggio, e come vi avevamo annunciato si è trattenuto nella città capitolina fino a poco fa, quando ha incontrato il numero uno laziale: l'esito dell'incontro è positivo, in quanto le due parti hanno trovato un preaccordo per il trasferimento di Ledesma in nerazzurro: la società di Corso Vittorio Emanuele non vorrebbe mettere nella trattativa la comproprietà di Krhin oltre ai 7 milioni chiesti da Lotito, così potrebbe decidere di alzare l'offerta per mettere in cassaforte l'affare. A confermarlo, la trasmissione Calciomercato di SportItalia.

Dunque, ora l'argentino è vicinissimo ad accasarsi alla corte di Mourinho, ma servirà ancora qualche giorno per definire la situazione: la società di Moratti vuole chiudere assolutamente entro venerdì, ed anche alla Lazio conviene chiudere al più presto per reinvestire i soldi incassati dall'eventuale cessione dell'argentino, ormai sempre più probabile.

Agreed with you on Ledesma. When I heard about Veloso, I was actually hoping that Lotito keeps increasing his demands for ledesma, knowing that Veloso would be much more usefull to this team. Now that I know Quaresma isnt willing to go back to Portugal, I'm kind of willing we end this issue, so as not to risk getting Baptista. Branca yesterday said that if we dont find an agreement on Ledesma, there is another player whom we can buy within 3 hours....and that makes me think it is Baptista. Better Ledesma than the Beast. The strange thing is that according to various different rumours, Sporting Lisbon would immediately accept an offer for Veloso of about 10M euros....What's happened to the guy? Last I used to hear of, he was valued more than 18M euros...Then again, for 10M euros I would rather get veloso than Ledesma...pff.

It's 99% Baptista. There wasn't much of a difference in what we were offering to what they wanted so I feel we'd just give in and pay the extra bit to get him. Apart from that, we haven't really been linked with anyone else seriously. 10 million is way too much for Ledesma but one of the reports I read said that part of it would be a show of good faith for taking Pandev for free. The guys 27, hasn't played at all this season and isn't going to if he stays with Lazio. For me, the offer should be no more than 6 mil plus co-ownership of Khrin and loan of Destro/Obi. I'd happily throw the 10 mil at Veloso like you said.

Another interesting option was Hernanes but I think he's more in the region of 15 mil and there wouldn't be anyone that we could throw into the deal.

There are also rumours about getting Mariga from Parma since we just loaned them Jimenez. I really don’t know much about Mariga TBH, but I’m sure he is much more of a physical player rather than a technical one. It’s a bit frustrating cause we are being linked with so many different kind of midfielders that makes one ask whether we want a midfielder for a certain type of football or because we need an increase in numbers..

The only game I ever saw Mariga play was against us and he was everywhere but he looked like a pure destroyer to me and that's not the type we should be looking for. You're right about the frustrating part; I still can't understand how we've targeted Ledesma/Veloso but also Baptista and Mariga. A regista, a ball playing cdm, an AM and a pure CDM; hardly makes sense. If this is how indecisive they're going to be, I hope we miss out on all of them so we can look at it clearer at the end of the season.

I also wonder if Zanetti will now be permanently used as a rotation for the LB/RB spots. You can't imagine him being used at RM with at least 5 natural midfielders to choose from who are better suited to the role. This will be bad news if Santon has to be left out all over again after showing good form.

Lazio are about to sign a midfielder from Villareal which sounds like the direct replacement of Ledesma so there's probably something in that.

a post here from another milan forum i visit from time to time, this guy whos post i'm quoting is from Brazil so he keeps us updated on the players we are lnked with. this post is in regards to the Hernanes rumours.

"There´s a strong talk here in Brazil that Hernanes will be selled until the end of the january window.

Maybe it´s a coincidence, but São Paulo just bring back to Brazil Cleber Santana(A. de Madrid) that in his Santos time, played a similar role to Hernanes. Also, they bring Rodrigo Souto, a more defensive mid, but that can also play Hernanes role with less quality.

Hernanes agent said that he gave to São Paulo president 3 proposals from European clubs last tuesday, and since S. Paulo president didn´t deny it(until now), I tend to believe it´s true.

The agent also said that the values are near of what S. Paulo received last season(Barcelona offered 15 M), in others words, less money. But as he also pointed, the market now isn´t the same...

Regarding names, the press here is saying that the clubs are Milan, Inter(the other one isn´t being mentioned). Basically the same thing you hear from Italy. So, it´s better to wait and see...

But one thing appears to be true, 3 European clubs really sent to São Paulo a proposal for Hernanes..."

L'ultimo e probabilmente definitivo colpo di scena nel caso Ledesma arriva direttamente dalle parole dell'agente del giocatore, Vincenzo D'Ippolito ai microfoni di Sky: "Lotito ha rifiutato un'offerta congrua dell'Inter e ora Moratti non è più disposto a trattare. Credo che sia ormai certo che Ledesma resterà alla Lazio. Il giocatore valeva circa 15 mln di euro, ora però, dopo 7 mesi senza giocare il suo prezzo è sceso. Io credo che l'offerta arrivata dall'Inter sia stata di circa 10 mln di euro. Genoa? No, lui voleva l'Inter".

14.15 Continua il tormentone di mercato legato al possibile approdo di Cristian Ledesma all'Inter. Ora, secondo quanto riferito da Sky Sport 24, pare ci sia l'intromissione, nella trattativa tra i biancocelesti e l'Inter, anche del Genoa, che avrebbe già raggiunto un accordo con la Lazio: a Roma finirebbe Zapater e un conguaglio di due miioni di euro.

Il problema, però, è legato alla volontà di Ledesma: il giocatore vuole soltanto l'Inter, sia perchè si tratta di un club di assoluito livello e sia perchè, comunque, ciò che andrebbe a guadagnare a Milano non è paragonabile con l'eventuale contratto che gli offrirebbe il Genoa.

L'Inter ha proposto alla Lazio otto milioni di euro più la metà del cartellino del giovane Krinh; non c'è ancora l'accordo, ma presto potrebbe concretizzarsi il tutto.

Cristian Ledesma? No. Zapater? Nemmeno. Veloso? Neanche. Il nuovo centrocampista dell'Inter sarà, come anche confermano i maggiori siti calcistici d'Italia, il gioiello del Valencia e della Nazionale portoghese Manuel Fernandes. "Il giocatore ha già sostenuto le visite mediche per il club nerazzurro, si attende da un momento all'altro l'annuncio ufficiale", si legge sul sito de La Gazzetta dello Sport, che dunque dà l'affare come già pronto per la conclusione definitiva. In realtà Fernandes è atteso domattina a Milano, dove dovrebbe sottoporsi alle tradizionali visite mediche prima della firma. Da Valencia la dirigenza locale conferma l'intesa raggiunta con il club nerazzurro: prestito con diritto di riscatto fissato a 10 milioni di euro.

Un colpo a sorpresa clamoroso ed inatteso, dunque: Manuel Fernandes è cresciuto nel Benfica e ha giocato in Premiershit nel Portsmouth e nell'Everton per poi approdare in Spagna, dove al Valencia sta facendo davvero bene. Ricordiamo che Fernandes è stato ad un passo proprio dallo Sporting Lisbona dove gioca Veloso, e sembrava dovesse essere il suo sostituto per un approdo all'Inter, ma Jorge Mendes, suo agente, ha bloccato tutto ed ha direzionato il ragazzo ai nerazzurri. Il ragazzo, inoltre, potrà giocare in Champions League. Si attendono sviluppi ufficiali nei prossimi minuti.

Report: Inter strike Fernandes deal

Inter appear to have found their midfielder with reports of a deal for Valencia's Manuel Fernandes.

The Nerazzurri started they will sign a reinforcement for the middle of the park during the January transfer window.

Lazio rejected their £8.6m offer for Cristian Ledesma and President Massimo Moratti said they were “looking at other targets.â€
