Il Vasco da Gama ha sconfitto, ieri sera, per 6-0 il Botafogo Rj. Ma non è questa la notizia più importante per i tifosi nerazzurri. Il Vasco, che era addirittura dato per sfavorito dai bookmaker, si è sbarazzato con irrisoria facilità degli avversari mettendo in mostra un Coutinho strabiliante. Il trequartista, appena promosso in prima squadra, ha già realizzato la sua prima doppietta, con la quale la sua squadra ha chiuso il set. Coutinho, infatti, ha segnato quinto e sesto gol al 60' e all'82'. Il trequartista classe 1992 non sarebbe dovuto essere titolare nella squadra dell'allenatore Vagner Mancini che, però, si è dovuto ricredere e ha lanciato il talento nerazzurro, dopo essere rimasto impressionato dalla crescita atletica e tecnica di Coutinho. Curiosità: la futura stella dei nerazzurri ha giocato come trequartista alle spalle della punta Dodo insieme a Carlos Alberto, esploso con Mourinho al Porto e poi scomparso dai palcoscenici che contano.

Ha firmato un contratto che lo legherà al club neazzurro fino al 30 dicembre 2012 e farà parte della rosa degli Allievi Nazionali 2009-2010 allenati da Giorgio Gatti, l'attaccante slovacco Jakub Vojtus, classe 1993, acquistato a titolo definitivo dall'MSK Zilina a.s.

Il talentino slovacco ha già visitato i centri di Appiano e parlato con Marco Branca, ed è rimasto fulminato dall'ambiente nerazzurro. Tanto è vero che Vojtus ha già rifiutato Real Madrid e Manchester United, oltre al superBarcellona. I tifosi nerazzurri già sognano un nuovo Coutinho!

Good to see Coutinho coming along. He still looks pint size but he's still only 18 so fair enough. If he keeps playing in the first team then it's the right decision to keep him there instead of bringing him to train with us.

Who's the new kid Lomba? Jakub Vojtus? He must be something decent if Real, Barca and Man Utd were also after him. Is he for the Prima?

It's impossible to know much about a 16 year old kid, but I'd assume he is something if Real, Barca & Man U were after his signature. He will not join the primavera but the 'allievi', which is the section for kids his age. Hopefully he'll soon move up to the Primavera.

Ledesma's request has been rejected by the court so he is still a Lazio player.

Inter Midfielder Wesley Sneijder Receives Two Match Ban For Ironic Applause Of Referee
The Dutchman has been made to pay dearly for his Milan derby actions...

Inter midfielder Wesley Sneijder has landed a two-match ban after applauding and insulting referee Gianluca Rocchi during the 2-0 win over Milan on Sunday.

Sneijder was sent off after having insulted the ref and he performed an ironic clapping gesture. Sports judge Gianpaolo Tosel has dished out the punishments and the Lega Calcio have confirmed the following measures have been taken against the club.

The statement on Lega Calcio's official website confirms Sneijder has been banned for two games following his gestures. Inter have been fined €7,000 after fans threw lighters onto the pitch as well as lighting up flares and bangers in the stands. The champions were also given another €2,500 sanction after the team came out for the second half more than two minutes later than scheduled, delaying kick-off.

Marco Materazzi, who wore a mask of Silvio Berlusconi during his post match celebrations, was cautioned. Lucio, who was sent off for handball when already on a yellow card, was given a one-game suspension.

Apparently, Ledesma's contract isn't going to be canceled. He lost the court case. I wonder if Lazio is that stupid to just keep him without playing instead of selling him to us.

Frank, we actually need Kolarov. How can we go another half a season with only Maicon and Santon as pure fullbacks? Ok, Zanetti can cover every now and again but if Kolarov is available, why not get him in? He's a champion in the making and is only 24. Santon might get less game time but who says he'll lose his spot? If he can outplay Kolarov, I'm sure the starting spot is his. If what Lomba is saying comes true and we look to cash in on Maicon next year, Santon then gets to play in his natural position. We shouldn't miss this opportunity..

No way I'd pay 20 mil for him. I'd take him if the deal was what the papers were saying we offered - 10 mil plus Khrin and Obi/Destro for him and Ledesma. That's a deal we couldn't really afford to miss out on. But because of the ruling for Ledesma now, if the deal changes and they want 20 for Kolarov on his own then you're right, we should pass. I'd much rather swap Q7 for Veloso and take our chances with Santon, Maicon, Zanetti and Donati.

I think we should be really pushing Quaresma out now, even if it's just a loan. It's a world cup year and he'd need to play a good second half of the season to even make the squad since they already have a ton of wingers. Leaving is his best option right now.

So Sneijder is banned for two games, Lucio for one, GK coach banned for one and Paolillo and Mou have to explain what they meant by their comments about match fixing to the Italian FA. We pretty much expected that but giving Matrix a yellow card after the full time whistle for wearing the Berlusconi mask? haha I don't know whether to laugh or feel sorry for the league.

Yesterday Moratti said that the Ledesma deal will not be sealed because Inter has made an official request to Lazio, which was refused. He said that now we'll be buying someone else. So it is official we'll be buying a midfielder, but I dont know who it is. Reports talk about the Quaresma - Veloso deal but today I've read that that fucker Quaresma has refused the move to Sporting Lisbon. If he does keep on insisting on staying, we might lose this one time opportunity. Let's hope his agent can change his mind cause he's already gone to Portugal to deal with Sporting, so I hope he can pull it out.

Well that's the situation we're stuck in with him and Mancini I suppose. At least we got rid of Vieira's massive wages tbh. We also need to be careful now with what we threaten him with if he doesn't leave because of the Pandev precedent. The furthest we could possibly go is let him train with the first team but never pick him in the squad for match days. Anyway, here's a nice interview with our favourite piece of crap;

About Moratti's comments, I wonder if we are are really after another midfielder or is it a ploy to make Lotito realize what a big fool he is and lower the demands for Ledesma.

We are also being linked with Zapater, the Genoa midfielder. I think he had a great start to the season but I am not sure what happened of him lately.

You guys probably already knew but Mou, Quaresma and Veloso all have the same agent so that makes things a little less complicated for the deal. Either way, we'll know in about 3 days what's going to happen...

According to latest rumors, Branca is in Rome to broker a deal for Ledesma.

And Quaresma is unwilling to move to Sporting...So a swap is ruled out.
