Cerci from what I heard is football illiterate, doesn't understand the tactics and what not. Guess that's why he hasn't been featured much. Really hoped we won last night so that we were 3 points behind the third spot. This weekend Parma in Olimpico so I expect us to grab the three points.

No Totti, Menez or Vucinic for Thurdays game with Sofia. I know we have already qualified, but we still may need a win to be certain of top spot (and avoid certain teams from CL elimination), as a win for either Basel or Fulham could take them above us. Not quite sure why Menez has been left out, considering he was suspended for yesterdays game. Guess it will be either Baptista or Okaka upfront as prima-punta and support could come from Guberti or Cerci out wide, either way it will be good to give some of them a full game or so to see what sort of form they are in. Edzo, I believe the game is on Wednesday (as the page you've copied suggests too) - a 6:00 start for us, even. I know you wouldn't want to miss the game. I think it's much more important that Ranieri uses the opportunity to rest some legs and give a chance to some of the second-stringers. I know we want to top the group, but 3 points on the weekend is clearly the more important goal and playing away in Sofia would be good for the footballing education of guys like Okaka and Andreolli. Perrotta's suspended for the weekend, so he'll probably play; otherwise, I'd like to see Cerci, Guberti, Okaka, Faty, and Andreolli all start.

Jammy, I read on RA that it was advertised in the latest issue of La Roma magazine that the official AS Roma website is in the process of being redesigned, so maybe we will finally get an English version. Don't get your hopes up, though.

Although i have to wonder if it was a good idea playing a basketball event considering all the dodgy ginocchio's in our squad...

I never noticed yesterday but Faty is not In our squad list for the Sofia game. Unusual, I think he was just not selected. Menez is suspended. think we will see Okaka and Baptista upfront from the start tomorrow, which will be interesting to see.
