Arnautovic in Inter squad

President Massimo Moratti attended todayÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s training session and Mark Arnautovic is in the squad, but Inter are refusing to speak to the media.

The club took the rare step of cancelling all pre-match Press conferences ahead of Sunday afternoonÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s trip to Atalanta, so Coach Jose Mourinho is maintaining his silence.

He already pulled out of all but the contractually obligated interviews after the 2-0 Champions League victory over Rubin Kazan on Wednesday.

President Moratti attended todayÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s training session, where Dejan Stankovic and Sulley Ali Muntari returned to working with the team after injuries.

Ricardo Quaresma, Walter Samuel, Davide Santon and Rene Khrin are out of action, while Muntari is suspended.

The real change for this game is the presence of summer signing Arnautovic in the squad.

The young Austrian striker was brought in as the new Zlatan Ibrahimovic, but is yet to make his official debut, having featured only in friendlies and with the youth team.

There is a clause in his contract declaring that Inter will not sign Arnautovic on a permanent basis from FC Twente if he has not notched up at least 10 official appearances, as when he joined he was recovering from surgery.

Fat chance he'll get some game time with Eto'o, Milito and Balo in the team as well. It could be possible we'll be using that CL formation again but since there's no press conference, it's hard to know what's happening. Also, if there is a return for Zanetti into midfield with the form he's had at RB/LB and all our midfielders available, I'll be very disappointed.

No positives out of this game except we've slightly increased our lead at the top.

- Game tempo was below walking pace
- The formation was never going to work with Cambiasso and Zanetti in midfield
- Eto'o is a waste out wide
- Chivu appears to have lost the plot

The formation was too top-heavy and because Cambiasso and Zanetti couldn't play through, Sneijder had to drop really deep meaning we were just disjointed as a team. This can only work if both Motta and Stankovic are in the team. I couldn't even begrudge Atalanta for a point because they deserved it imo. The CL clearly had it's effect on the big teams though with both Milan and Juve losing so I suppose you can let them off for this fatigued performance.

And once again, the refereeing was absolutely abysmal. Rizzoli is the biggest piece of piss ref aside Rossi in Serie A. I almost can't blame Juve for fixing match refs if it was to avoid fuckers like this. Once again, no idea how to use a yellow card, blowing for non-existent fouls and missing the most obvious ones. I couldn't stop laughing about the Sneijder red; he commits one act of dissent and one tackle and is yellow carded twice. Make no mistake about it, the ref was clearly looking for a result not favouring us today.
