Roma won't let Doni, Juan join Brazil



Rome, Italy (Sportsbooks) - Roma boss Claudio Ranieri has ruled Brazilian pair Doni and Juan out of their country's friendlies in the Middle East against England and Oman. The pair missed their side's 1-1 draw with Inter MIlan at the weekend through injury and will continue their rehabilitation in the Italian capital.

Speaking to La Gazzetta dello Sport, sporting human resources manager Gianpaolo Montali said: "Doni and Juan will stay in Rome to have treatment, given that Brazil are only playing two friendlies and the regulations allow it.

"If the national team doctors want to verify the condition of their players, they can come to Rome and do it."

Brazil face England in Qatar on Saturday before making the short journey to Muscat in Oman for their second game three days later.

Gio, I read today that Rosella is the highest paid football club presidente in Serie A. I'm not surprised!

I always said she manufactured an extra money making position for herself with that "in name only job" she had, in addition to her legitimate position while the Old Man was still living. That showed me the kind of person we are dealing with, and it never ceases to amaze me there are those who would still argue the point with me about her being an opportunist...at very least!
