MARIO!!!MARIO!!!MARIO!!!! Simply impressive!! A half like that would have made even the best Ibra proud. I dont know if you've all noticed, but ever since the start of this year, I cannot really remember a bad match from Mario. Last year he did alternate from good to bad, but this year, when he came on as a sub in the 4-3-3 he always changed the match and when he started from the beginning, he's played marvellously. Also, you think it's a coincidence that the only 2 games Balotelli started from the beginning as a central striker, we've scored 5 goals in each?? I believe not, though obviously I dont expect 5 goals in each match he'll start..

Inter-Mario Fernandes: trattativa giÃƒÂ avviata

Come appreso da calciomercato.com l'Inter ha avviato la trattativa con il laterale destro del Gremio, Mario Fernandes. Dopo averlo visionato in alcune occasioni, ultima quella di due giorni fa nella gara tra Gremio e AvaÃƒÂ¬ il club nerazzurro ha avviato una trattativa con il 19enne paulista. Secondo quanto abbiamo appreso infatti nella giornata di ieri Mario Fernandes, il suo agente e alcuni emissari nerazzurri si sono incontrati a Porto Alegre per parlare delle possibilitÃƒÂ di trasferimento del difensore a Milano. La trattativa ÃƒÂ¨ qundi ben avviata e potrebbe concludersi positivamente entro 3-4 giorni. Trovato l'accordo col giocatore, l'Inter dovrÃƒÂ poi definire con il Gremio il costo dell'operazione. Secondo quanto ha dichiarato ieri ad un giornale brasiliano l'agente di Fernandes, Jorge Machado, il Gremio potrebbe chiedere una cifra intorno ai 12 mln di euro.

According to this article, we are very close at finding a deal for Mario fernandes of gremio. The club's scouts have been noted on the stands during Gremio's last game, and now it seems that Inter have approached the player's agent and found an agreement with him. Next step is to find an agreement with Gremio, who apparently are asking for a massive fee of 12M euros. If this is confirmed and an agreement is found, than that will only mean that as I expected, Maicon is out this summer.

Here's a vid of him. He's defensively very sound, but doesnt have Maicon's verve going forward. I really see him as a Mourinho type of defender. Defensively good, and starts the attacking game from behind. I do believe there might be something true in this rumour.

If we're continuing with the profit system, then we should be selling Maicon next season. No doubt Man City (and maybe even Madrid if Arbeloa and Ramos continue playing like shite) will pay the 30 mil we can get for him as his value will decrease alot after he hits 30. I've never seen this Fernandez guy but I'd definitely hope Santon gets the RB position permanently when Maicon leaves.

Mancini frees himself from Inter

Roberto Mancini has freed himself from his contract with Inter, fuelling speculation he is being lined up to replace Manuel Pellegrini at Real Madrid.

The 44-year-old had another two years to run on the deal that he signed before being asked to make way for Jose Mourinho in the summer of 2008.

His annual salary of Ã‚Â£6m is believed to have stopped many clubs from attempting to hire him, as they didn't want to pay Inter compensation.

However, that won't be a problem anymore, after a meeting yesterday between Inter President Massimo Moratti and Mancini's agent Giorgio De Giorgis.

Davide Santon who has been left out for technical reasons. "I have decided not to call him up," said Mourinho, who was asked if the 18-year-old defender should be sent on loan to another team. "I won't reply to this question, but I remind you that Davide has always been called up to the team. There have been 14 competitive matches this season and he has always been with us. It's not an easy time for him and this has been made worse by the fact that a lie was written about him on the first page of an important and credible sports daily. I didn't telephone Davide. I spoke to him face to face in my office and my collaborators can prove it."

Some personal problems for Santon or something? Is that what Mourinho means by "it's not an easy time for him"? Did he split up with his bird or something?

It would be hilarious to see Mancini in charge of Real Madrid. Somehow he's perfectly suited to such a shambolic club. How long would he last, a month? Two? Its only a matter of time before Perez makes the great Cristiano Ronaldo manager as well anyway, just so he can do what he likes.

With Santon, he's received criticism about his performances so far this season, especially against Sampdoria and it seems it's unsettled him, being a young player and all. I'm not worried though; Mou's man-management is his best quality.

If there's ever been a player I've wanted, it would be Hamsik. Give them the entire youth academy plus half the first team and some cash, but get him here asap.

Since Muntari is more of a left sided player I think it would be Vieria on the right. Muntari is having a good run though, he is in pretty good form.
