Lupa, I made a joke on another thread about not being our Professore's forté...it seems maro has a talent for drawing people out after all! In some cases...

Much as we need our Capitan' Francesco to keep his shooting boots on as our present top scorer, I too have been saying for ages that when/if his form dips then we shouldn't be objecting to seeing him benched if Ranieri has the guts to do it. There is a lot of speculation surrounding this new pact between the two of them we are hearing about. We'll soon see, I think, some of it in practice!

Ed's book got my curiosity going too so I looked up the Wiki pages. Not quite what I expected, to say the least!

Looking at the author's name, Robert Silverberg, and going by the text, we can guess at the reasoning behind the book's Jewish slant. I'm reminded of another book named The Lost Tribes From Outer Space by an author named Marc Dem, presumed by many, myself included, to be Jewish but who in fact is Catholic. He too was convinced the Jews' ultimate fate lies away from Earth, just as in Roma Eterna.
