Gio, your two posts giving facts and figures which I doubt any of the rest of us here even guessed opens a broader outlook on matters.

It's clear now that we have the kind of woman who believes, or wants to, that each individual part of her different business concerns should pay for themselves which to a point makes sense. What makes more sense though is that if one part suffers, then the rest subsidise it provided it's not a lost cause.

Roma is no lost cause and I'm wondering, if Roma is her toy, will she really be content to see us standing on our own two feet so to speak as a mid table club and just about solvent, rather than invest funds she clearly has which in anybody's terms would benefit all round. Or, is it as simply cut and dried an affair as she won't spend family money while the estimated €350mil debt stands? Or as plain as she won't spend family funds, period?

I struggled a bit to piece this morning's RomaGialloRossa articles together but it seems even though Unicredit are at last making noises about forcing la Sensi into a sale by putting the squeeze on Mediabanco, there are still obstacles in the way. Mps(?) have made no attempt to move for a Roma sale though Alessandro Profumo of Cordusio (49% stake in Italpetroli) advised for it in June.

There's something about overpriced properties being sold to the Italian government and Unicredit ready to go to court also.

AS Roma started at +4.55 on the market this morning thanks to this latest Angelini news.

As I said last night, I really hope this mega offer he is talking about happens and isn't going to turn into another non-event.
