On the topic of us winning point in tuscany, I know we've done very well against fiorentina in recent history.. lasts eason we lost, and the season before ferrari gave away a stupid 80th minute penalty on vieri when we were winning 2-1 ( yes.. I was there bitches)

But when we lost last season, it was our first loss to fiorentina both home and away in a very long time

This guy is not the first to jump on Rosella regarding her statment that she never expected Spalletti to 'abandon ship'..Clearly this guy is right. The actual responsibility for the situation lies with the club. Granata is on the sport and culture commission and is a huge Roma fan as you can see from the article.

Much as I'd like to believe Rosella is only guilty only of naieveté, bad management, and a strong desire to cling to her inheritance, I can't somehow accept it ends there. Not with the amount of money we know is involved.

I'd like to know why some of you find my accusations against Rosella so hard to take in. Of course they are based on supposition. If there was proof positive of anything other than legal dealings she'd be history by now. I said a couple of weeks ago we need someone in Unicredit to stand up to her and just maybe that's about to happen. But why has it taken so long? A gift here, a frown there...I've never failed to be surprised at what can be achieved by a look and an unspoken word.

Or is it that she will really sell if she considers the price to be right? I truly hope This "mega offer" of Angelini's actually happens and isn't just another load of blow...

Carlo, I want Rosella to go as much as anybody. Believe me, I do. On the other hand, what is seems she is doing is desperately trying to hold on to the only family asset that has the potential of making some money. If this was some other team and not Roma, I might be able to say, well that sounds kinda selfish, but I understand. Ultimately, she comes from a wealthy family and is desperately trying to hold on to the one thing that can maintain some sort of wealth. That IS understandable. Of course as passionate tifosi, we care much more about AS Roma than Rosy's bank account and we all wished Rosy would care more about AS Roma than about her bank account (as her father did). Fact is, she doesn't and I hope she goes ASAP.

Lorenzo, as another avenue of thought, I'll buy that, as the saying goes. I imagine quite a few of us would say Rosella was quite right in her actions if she was fighting to keep her home and a business not in any way connected with what we like to consider our Roma!

Too bad that's not the case though as it most certainly is about Roma! What I can't escape from is this mental image I have of her walking away when her time comes with both back pockets of her jeans stuffed full of the club's money!

Obviously no one here has ever been to Paris. Jeez. This Angelini news certainly is promising, but lets hope its not more of the same bullshit we've become accustomed to. I have to say, I find the timing of it all a bit curious. Right after the mercato closes and Spalletti quits, with the season well under way, Angelini contacts Unicredit and we have the rumour mill in overdrive once again. Is there something more in that or is it just me? Perhaps there's something to be optimistic about this season after all. Later, gents.
