E' arrivato nella sede nerazzurra il fax del contratto firmato da Wesley Sneijder che lega il giocatore olandese per 5 stagioni all'Inter.

L'accordo economico era stato in gran parte trovato ieri tra Soren Lerby e Marco Branca: il procuratore danese in giornata era tornato a Madrid per convincere il suo assistito a dire sì ai nerazzurri.

Sneijder guadagnerà circa 4,2 -4,5 milioni netti annui.

Ci sono voci relative ad uno sconto ottenuto dal Real Madrid sull'operazione complessiva. Risparmio che sarebbe girato direttamente al giocatore, ma andranno confermate (o più probabilmente non si sapranno mai).

Anche Marca ha confermato la notizia che pone fine a questo culebron di mercato, nella miglior tradizione nerazzurra degli ultimi anni.

I Am Ready To Face Milan In The Derby For Inter - Wesley Sneijder

Quotes from the Dutchman have suggested that his move to the Nerazzurri is complete...

Wesley Sneijder is apparently poised to become an Inter player, with quotes from him indicating that he could even take part in this weekend's Milan derby.

It previously appeared that the 25-year-old had rejected the Beneamata's overtures to remain with Real Madrid, but today's edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport carries some intriguing quotes from the Dutchman.

"I don't consider leaving Real to be a defeat because I am coming to one of the biggest clubs in the world, one which has won the championship for the last four years," the former Ajax midfielder enthused.

"In the last few weeks, [Inter coach] Jose Mourinho sent me a number of text messages to let me know how much he wanted me at Inter.

"The derby with Milan? The coach decides, I am ready to play immediately - I'm not lacking fitness."

Sneijder's statements follow news emanating from Italy last night that he had completed his move from Real Madrid for around €15-16 million. However, no official announcement has yet been made by either club.

The Sneijder deal is now practically done. He has already talked as an Interista, saying he can play for the derby if Mou wants and that Mou convinced him by sending him an enormous amount of SMS's. Thank God. Yesterday we were all terrorized at the idea of getting Baptista instead of Sneijder, but now I am relieved.

For tonight's draw, I have a feeling we'll end up getting Barca in pot 1. I'd like to see Ibra as an opponent now..
My biggest fears come from pot 3 eventually, since there will always be a big team in pot 1 but pot 3 is extremely dangerous this year. Pot 3 - Olympiakos, Marseille, Dinamo Kiev, Stuttgart, Fiorentina, Atletico Madrid, Bordeaux, Besiktas. Imagine getting Barca(Ibra) & Stuttgart (Hleb).....

BTW, speaking of Hleb. This was his pretty average goal yesterday.......

Sneijder says yes to Inter

The Wesley Sneijder transfer saga is coming to an end after the Dutchman agreed to join Italian champions Inter.

It had looked like the Nerazzurri had lost their man after the on-off transfer seemed dead given that the attacking midfielder was reluctant to leave Real Madrid.

However, after more talks between the parties yesterday it seems that the player has been convinced to try his luck in Italy.

Having flip-flopped his way to Inter, Wesley Sneijder has once again given the impression he didn't want to leave Real Madrid by lambasting their treatment of him.

Earlier this week, Sneijder rejected the chance to join Inter, saying Real Madrid director of sport Jorge Valdano wanted him to stay.

However, after a round of talks with Valdano yesterday afternoon, Sneijder was told he had no future at the club and that accepting Inter's offer would be the right thing to do.

On somewhat reluctantly giving Inter the green light, Sneijder released an exclusive interview to Dutch daily newspaper Telegraaf in which he explained his decision.

“Leaving Madrid is not a defeat. Inter are one of the biggest clubs in the world, for four years they have been Italian champions, and I am proud to wear the Nerazzurra jersey.

“In the last two weeks, Mourinho has sent me a lot of text messages in which he didn't miss the chance to make me understand just how much he wants to have me at Inter.

“It will be a pleasure to work with him,â€
