Please forgive my redundancy but Conti must have a pulse on all of this in his position, no? I just don't get how he can just sit quietly and let this go on. I'd be on the phone with Totti and setting up an informational meeting with Angelini just to evaluate for myself how serious he really is. If he is really serious (which I do believe - I'd just want further confirmation before acting), I'd form a united front and do something about it. Imagine, Conti, Totti, Spalletti and DDR sitting in the Curva Sud at the Olimpico during the next home game, holding up banners saying that they confirmed a serious offer and project from Angelini.

Gianni, do you have any inside info on Conti's feelings?

That's right Loazzi, it may be possible. After all, if the guy really wants to buy Roma and got the money for it, why all this seems to be so complicated??? He must know that there are other people more important than Rosella that he can convince. The Tifosi already know that the soonest this bitch is out, the better for the future of Roma. But as some of you said, this is happening in Italy and God only knows how much money may be circulating only for some people to shut their mouth or not to act as they should.

Gio, I don't like anything about the Rosella Sensi ownership, particularly as I'm convinced there are dealings being carried out behind the scenes that shouldn't be. Granted, this is commonplace in big business, easy to overlook when things go well and bloody hard to take when they are not...

But, yet again, we are talking about a failed buy-in attempt. You know my belief in time and fate...as I keep saying, when it happens I hope it's not under circumstances whereby Roma are badly damaged.

Yes, I read Rosella's accusation of Angelini trying to de-stabilise Roma's position. She also accused Angelini of not caring about the tifosi romani...I think Marco touched on that point. As I say, the only part I could loosely agree with was that it would suit any businessman to get the price down but not in the manner she suggested.

I don't remember ever in our history a collection of events like this...

Carlo, I don't understand what you mean by a "failed buy in attempt".. Angelini has not even made an offer because nobody will acknowledge his interest in buying this club. There is nothing Rosella can say that we should or could agree with Carlo. She does not have an original thought in her head. She knows nothing. Angelini is not going to over pay for this club. For Christ sake he knows he has to invest tens of millions in this club over and above the sale price. How much more damage has to take place before this bitch goes. Just wait when Roma starts getting offers for its television rights at the level of a mid to low tier team. She can't pay the bills now. Aquilani was sold just so we could pay our players. This club does not generate enough income to meet its obligations. We have lousy practice facilities, a medical staff that seems more inept than our management and a physical therapy facility that looks like it is out of the 1970's. You remember the 70's Carlo right?

The point is that this is a bankrupt club with no cash on hand and certainly no ability to borrow money if needed. All the while this delusional little princess continues to go on about a new stadium. I swear on all things Holy that I could kill her when I hear her talk about a new stadium.
